How many farmers in India or anywhere else in the world can afford to build dry or cold storage warehouses To store their goods until they can get a suitable price? I bet not many, only Major corporations can afford to do that. Clearly this will kill 1000s of small farmers and destroy their way of life.

Seems more like a great favor to Indians. Indians get to discover who the enemies, security threats and potential traitors to India are.
Similar thing occurred in the USA. Trump's actions brought the fascists? rebels? and their puppets out of hiding.

Canadian and American farmers often do but.....

Many farmers in Canada lock in their price via a futures contract before they even plant. They also take out insurance just in case the crop fails. Farmer does not need to store his product. It is sold before it even grows.

Indians have lots of currency traders. This is the same sort of thing and a big opportunity for those trade finance savvy Indians to both enrich farmers and themselves. Since India has small farms make India's futures contracts tiny.

Smart guys fight financial wars against other smart guys. Most people in gov't are not very smart that is why they work in gov't. Get the know nothings in gov't out of the way and let the smart Indians fight the financial and agricultural prices war for Indian farmers. EVERY nation has smart people...need to get them fighting the way smarties fight.
