TEHRAN: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday held the screening of an 80-minute long movie on the freedom struggle of Kashmiris in Mashhad, Iran.

The movie screening was held in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed by the Pakistani government to highlight the issues of human rights violations in Indian-held Kashmir by the Indian security forces to muzzle the voice of Kashmiris for self-determination.

It merits mention here that despite aggressive resistance from the Indian side to stop the screening of the movie from Mashhad and Tehran, the event was still held successfully with the support of the Iranian government.

Great effort tho , indian lobby/gov is most diff thing to beat.

. . .
Exposing the visceral hate for Muslims in Hindus will be most beneficial for Pakistan, especially in Muslim countries. Pakistan should make similar moves in other Muslim countries.

As we said earlier...India and relationship with nation is not based on emotions..Except Pakistan, we are never get emotionally impacted with any country even they like or dislike of Hindu people...It is also a known fact that Muslims is general will always side with Pakistan...
Our relation with Iran or Gulf is based on mutual respect and trade in nature...As long as our economics is going well with them...we do not mind them shouting about Kashmir issue...:-)

Yes you do mind shouting. Pakistan should raise this issue, at every forum. This should also include the other indigenous movements in India like Khalistan freedom movement. We ll see who has the last laugh.

For an Indian on a Pakistani forum you are sure sensible minded. No wonder why you didn't get banned.

Since you are here, lets talk about some serious matters:
1)The Kashmiris do not want Indian occupation on their lands.
2)They want the Plebiscite to be held the either Pakistan or India should chosen by the Kashmiri people.

So go tell your government to hold a plebiscite in Kashmir and lets get this over with!

Simple answer mate...no country allow any part of its territory lost out due to whatever reason it may be....it is not like we do not know Kashmir valley do want to stay with us...But do you really think it is so easy to allow some one separate a piece of land???...If expecting freedom is the criteria to be separate nation there examples like Tibet, many places in middle east people are expecting freedom from their country...Does that mean each nation will get it as they wish??

So we may keep on arguing endlessly in PDF....but india at this moment will provide any thing to Kashmir valley...

Okay lets have a serious discussion here.

But Tibet is not disputed territory according to the United Nations. Kashmir is disputed territory according to the United Nations.

Even your Nehru promised the Kashmiris and the world a plebiscite would be held in Kashmir to determine the status of Kashmir.

But India never did that.

I completely agree with you...i am not denying that India went to UN..But India is not abiding by its commitment..that is also true...but who will force us to abide by certain things which is not suitable or not in favor...

Now coming to Tibet, i do not want to hurt ur sentiment....but yoy also know the Tibet and its people want separation from China....If UN resolution is only indicator to allow freedom then you are correct....

I do not know if the Tibet people want independence from China.
This something I never heard of.

But Tibet is not disputed territory like Kashmir is. That is a huge difference.

Thank you for being honest.

And that is why the UN loses credibility. Because the UN is not forcing India to apply the referendum in Kashmir which is the oldest problem in the UN agenda.
