Oh you 'Pseudo Humanitarian' eat what animals eat. In a vegetarian world the animals will starve to death because 'pseudo humanitarians' like you are eating away all of their food.

Human beings are 'designed' to consume meat, otherwise we won't have a full upper jaw nor a digestive system and acids that allow the meat fabrics to be processed and turn into nutrition. If it wasn't true we would be like cows. Try feeding beef burgers to a goat and see if they eat it or are able to process it. So if evolution is allowing us to have a meat diet, who the F are you to tell us otherwise?

Do we come and tell you what sort of cabbage you can eat and what sort of parsley you cant? - then please shut up - 'eat and let eat'!

He clearly said not to kill an animal for HIS food, why the F are you so worked up? Where did he tell YOU not to eat meat??? It was a single line and not THAT difficult to comprehend.

The lady is obviously a nutter but the TV presenter himself is presenting a strawman argument by asking if she would like to instead eat a diseased animal.

The argument against Halaal meat is to do with animal welfare. Halaal procedures prohibits the stunning of animals before the throat is slit. Many people deem this to be a cruel form of killing an animal and are therefore against consuming halaal meat.

OTOH I've heard that halaal chicken available in the UK are stunned using an electric shock before slaughter. In that case I am fine with myself eating halaal chicken. I however try and consume free range chicken as much as possible.

Actually he needs to recite the Kalima/Dua/Prayer (and if you know the meaning of dua it somewhat suggests that the person is Muslim).

You may follow the same procedure but if you don't recite the Kalima/Dua/Prayer - The meat is not halal. If you do recite the Kalima it is.. But I am doubtful if the non-Muslims would recite it and if they do, if they are reading it or believing what they are saying since religion is all about belief

Unlike negative people the TV presenter took the good in Halal (clean, free of bacteria, checked if sick and all) whats wrong in making sure you have a healthy and clean meat?

Electric shock is in no way humane...good to know you like free range chicken...

Strange because pre-stunning is not really ethical...why kill a chicken in its sleep

What about automatic slaughter houses? Machines cut them, not humans.
