It is the belief of Muslims NOT Hindus. So stop making a fool out of yourself by imposing your belief on them.

They dont believe in hell or life hearafter.

Who told you that Hindus don't believe in heaven/hell and Hindus believe in 7 lives and one life is dependent on the previous life.

Anyway I agree with you that we should NOT impose ones beliefs on the other!

.
:what: is it?

can you post some back up material where Christian missionaries backed NE insurgencies and Maoists in India

National Liberation Front of Tripura

"The government in India's north-eastern state of Tripura says it has evidence that the state's Baptist Church is involved in backing separatist rebels...."

BBC News | SOUTH ASIA | 'Church backing Tripura rebels'

Maoists

Advani, Singhal, Togadia natural targets of Maoists'

"Noting that most of the cadre members and supporters in Orissa belonged to Christian community, Panda said, "It is a fact that Christians are in majority in our organisation. Our supporters in Orissa's Rayagada, Gajapati and Kandhamal also belonged to Christian community."

Sure, on the day of judgement i want to be judged by my deeds, and not by my beliefs. If there's any.

Yes absolutely.... A terrorist who was brainwashed to kill unarmed civilians in Mumbai in a cruel way gets 72 virgins in heaven and a comfortable life in heaven and a simple poor book shop owner who lived a non-violent life and never hurted anyone in his whole life gets to burn in hell just because he was a born Hindu....

If you call that person who judge like this as God... then he is NOT fit to be God!

We must Break through the Fog of lies that the Congress has created around us if we are to ensure the count unity of India as a nation

Quoted to be emphasized.

Muslims need to learn that there are other beliefs as equally true as theirs.

Or conversely their belief ie Islam is as false and fake as others.

This fundamentalism that only Muslims will be saved by their God makes them cruel towards others.

Your opinion is incorrect.

God says in the Quran.

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Ayat 85

وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Ayat 91

Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are unbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it, these it is who shall have a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers.

We don't believe that book is a word of God.

The vast majority of the world doesn't believe that it is a word of God.

It is the belief of Muslims NOT Hindus. So stop making a fool out of yourself by imposing your belief on them.

They dont believe in hell or life hearafter.

Don't assume things you have no idea of.

@sankranti A secular Indian should have no issues in seeking out wisdom..specially the wisdom of the samhitas. Secular means to divorce belief from affairs of the state and commerce NOT from one's private self. Hinduism's greatness arose from being able to clearly address this duality. So drop the "secular" term there...I can understand that you are using it in the context of the way our grand old party uses it...they are dhongis and pakhandis NOT secular folks.

Listen, the problem arises when people mutate Hindutva into some mutated abrahamic like totalitarian faith. Hinduism is not submission nor does it prescribe any divine laws. There is a stark difference between divine laws and universal laws- let me expand on that in the context of Hinduism. The core that defines us- or at least used to- is our knowledge of karma, kal and vidhi- these were universal laws, even the devas and trimurtis were subject to kal and karma. Prajapati could not escape karma nor could even Mahadev. Those laws applied to all that were comprised within the universe of matter and mass. Beyond that we are left with rituals...people have discarded the core universal laws and taken up the rituals.

That is exactly the hallmark of Hinduism- no deity or god of ours ever demanded devotion or faith. Dharma, karma and then bhakti...but people have conflated bhakti with dharma. A man could be completely devoid of bhakti..as a practitioner of Mimamsa, Samkhya, Carvaka, or Ajivika would have been but IF that man knew his dharma and would not engage in the practice of durveda then he was fit for praise. No demands of faith or belief were ever raised. No god judged merit..only karma did. Hinduism marked itself by first laying stress on karm (different in this context from karma) and dharma- these were based on knowledge and reason rather than faith. That IS the beauty of it...you were to know why you were doing what you were doing- once that shastra was with you faith was not required.

Most of what is prescribed today by all are the empty rituals sans the knowledge.

This rot set in right before the invasions and then got amplified by said invasions. We took on too many mutated notions from them...I need not expand on that..you already know of them.

Anyway you may not agree..but there can be no revival if you're going to try and forget the shamhitas..and unfortunately many of the hinduwadis I have met don't even bother with such knowledge..all they care for is temples and cows..Hinduism is not some book of gospels that needs to be simplified for the "sheep of ones' flock". It is complex and must be understood in its complexity..not simplified and dumbed down. I see that BronxBull isn't here..I had a mind to discuss with him further about the difference between our knowledge based edicts and ritual based edicts..I have an inkling that he is one of the few Bhumihars who remember's our origin and texts.
