Yeah its cheaper. Comes around to 200 for prime cuts. You have to be especially careful when you buy though......you need to make sure it wasn't feeding off garbage.

You can get pork for 150-100-80 (depending on the supplier) as well, but there's no telling what its been eating.

Thanks for the info..I am yet to come across a slaughterhouse selling pork in my place..may be it has to do with the fact that they are mainly run by Muslims.

Lol, i hope you dont expect Muslims to sell you pork. Its a niche market to be honest. Not a lot of takers out there......i think only Christians and other "blasphemers" indulge in pork .

LOL...I don't expect Muslims to sell me pork nor I am looking forward to eating it....just wanted to know the price as it seems to be virtually absent in the slaughterhouses in my place, may be its more prevalent in the Christian Belt in the Central Travancore region.
