FM from 4 Southeast Asian countries to visit China March 31 to April 2

. .
If you think Singapore is democratic then what about China? China holds elections and has a parliament too lol. The elected president in Singapore is ceremonial and the prime minister holds the real power.

You're unbelievably ignorant for an old poster.

Singapore is a parliamentary democracy like the UK, Canada and Japan, where the head of government (PM) wields real power, not the head of state (Queen, King, Emperor, President, or whatever). The head of state is a ceremonial position.

According to your logic, the UK and Japan are not democratic because they don't elect their head of state. Heck, the Head of State in Canada is Queen Elizabeth II, a foreigner.

Hmm... just that 4..? Why not the whole ASEAN FM...? or maybe only need the Democratic states of ASEAN for now...?

In ASEAN context (and increasingly in the world's one), democracy (in Western style) means deep corruption, instability, inefficiency, lying (both by "free press" and governments), faked news, cheating, poor quality education, and after all, poverty and high inequality, compared to the not-so-democratic countries, like Singapore or Vietnam (Vietnam has our own definition of democracy, which are referred to as "dan chu", or "min-chu" in Chinese, Korean and Japanese, literally meaning "people are the lords".

Not something to be proud of.
