Five soldiers martyred in Awaran blast

QUETTA: Five members of a security force were martyred and eight others injured in a bomb attack in the Awaran’s Pirandar area on Tuesday.

Official sources said that unidentified people had placed a bomb at a roadside and detonated it by remote control when a convoy of security forces was passing through the area.

The vehicle was damaged by the bomb blast.

After the blast, security personnel cordoned off the area and shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby health facility.

The martyred soldiers were identified as Sakhi, Shad Muhammad, Abdul Rehman, Khaleel Ahmed and Asadullah.

The injured were identified as Ikram, Ahsan, Alamgir, Shakir, Amir, Farhan, Sabeel and Omer Khan.

Meanwhile, two security personnel were injured when their vehicle was hit by a bomb blast in Tump area of Kech district. The explosive device was placed at a roadside. It exploded when the vehicle of security personnel was passing through the area.

The injured were taken to the Turbat district hospital.

Nopes, no solution.
We can improve the vehicle,
and all it will take is another few Kg of explosives.

Please no Toyota 4*4, No country using it as it is not bullet proof Nor Bomb proof.
Please increase defense budget, their lives are also important. Count how many Soldiers, We lost in terrorist attacks.

Very easy to say, Do you know the total operational cost for operation for such massive cleanup?and total area of Baluchistan? While our army is fighting against terrorism in pakafghan border and itis 2500km difficult terrain mountainous area, on other side taking care of Indian boundary. Piece of cake? We should thank our army what they are doing everywhere in this limited budget, always on front line for sacrifices, we are living safe here due to brave army.

I think now PA should have realised that the soldier life is more than the operational cost of MRAP. This is extremely disappointed.

Someday when a General's young blood will go to waste in an IED explosion, then they will realize the pain & sufferings of other victim's families.

All these issues can be resolved by providing MRAP to troops operating in more insurgency prone districts like Awaran, South Waziristan and North Waziristan

Also a comprehensive and final operation is needed in few districts of balochistan

But both won't happen for sure.

Not cheaper option than Toyota 4x4, but there is cost of life too, amount and time we spend on their training , I really wish we increase our defense budget little more.
