@Politico and @El Sidd We have had this dicussion before. Asiatic lions are healthy and multiplying at a more than healthy rate in India. They are no longer confined to the Gir forest and have spread out all over Saurashtra. About 22,000 km. The people there so far have not negatively reacted to even killings humans by the lions so killing of cows by the lions is not much of a bother. The govt compensates them and they are okay with it.
Gujarat is being petty minded by not allowing few of its lions to be moved to Kuno palpur forest in Madhya pradesh which has been prepped for them.
The Lions are now forced to prey on human habitat and its just a matter of time when the humans decide enough is enough.
