First pictures of Iranian developed COVID-19 vaccine

Thank God we, at least an specific group of Iranian youth/scientists, don't have the mindset of majority of Pakistanis. This lame logic that I can't do what the westerners do, I don't have the required brain to use and finally i have to be a follower who has to offer his loyalty to big boys.

On-topic from 3 leading companies, only One of them has received Permission for clinical tests on human samples. We cannot Wait for others' mercy. Good Luck to our scientists.
Well said.:enjoy:
I could not have put it any better myself, especially this sentiment:
"We cannot Wait for others' mercy"
If ever there was a mantra for the resistance economy it was this.

I really don´t undrstand some Pakistanis here.....

Do they not know that Iran´s poorest regions are still richer than Pakistan´s richest regions? Do they not know that Iranian dogs live better lives than average Pakistani when it comes to food and shelter and hygene?

What are they tryig to achieve by ridiculing Iran´s achievements?
Isnt it obvioues to everyone that Iran is light years ahead of Pakistan in every scientific and industrial field?

Instead ridiculing Iran´s achievements, why dont you guys try to feed your own people, 99% of whom can only afford to eat one meal a day!!

Forget about trying to compete with Iran in science and technolog....focues on trying to get enough calories.

As an Icelandic Belarusian , why are you so harsh on Pakistanis !

I don't understand why some Pakistanis do that. Some of them are very nice, but some of them are really assholes.

I mean do we make fun of Pakistan for being bad at literally every sport except Cricket (which is popular only among British-made countries and people in other countries don't even care what it is)? How many goals do you think Pakistan will concede if Iran and Pakistan play a football match? 5? 10? 15? Maybe 20?

Have you heard about Pakistan winning a title in basketball, volleyball, swimming, weightlifting, taekwondo, karate or anything?

Do we make fun of Pakistan for accepting to be bombed by the USA for years without any response?

Do we make fun of Pakistan for sending people to do low jobs in Arab countries?

Do we make fun of Pakistan for having a literacy rate below 70% with a 20% gender gap?

I don't understand what makes them so cocky when we don't provoke these trolls at all.

The mindset of " I can't do what the westerners do, I don't have the required brain to use and finally i have to be a follower". Is a mindset that existed in most under developed countries including Iran during the shah.. Countries that have managed to remove this enormous shackle are China, Iran and to some extent Turkey.

One reason Western countries try so hard to defeat Iran is because when Muslims of the region see the the advancement that Iran has done by herself they may start believing that "if Iranians did it we can do it also" which means trouble for their markets...

ran is indeed is 1st country in the region regarding science and technology under toughest sanctions and is doing its best in all areas .. in fact Iran Vaccine and Serum Research Institute was founded 1924 and is one the best of its own ...
Don't mind that sectarian zombie. The 50 year relationship with GCC bred lot of these sadly. Not to worry, now that their pappa has adopted Israel as the wife these guys are literally surplus to need.

On subject, congrats. I know Iran has a strong, probably strongest base in science. Simple because while Pakistan was setting up madaris to produce talibs Iran invested heavily in scientific education and today Iran has large scientific pool.

Even though Iran is a theocratic state by design since 1979 practically all the leadership is all technocrats besides being religious leaders personally I would rather see a Nationalist Iran not a theocratic one but status quo is better than another "revolution" or "regime change" Iranians need a break for real plus launch those nukes already
Besides that I never see Downtown Tehran get blockaded by Madari peasants occasionally they are anti American rallies where they burn flags but that's like occasion it seems in Pakistan whenever a Madaris get bad they block half of the damn capital

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran launched human trials of its first domestic COVID-19 vaccine candidate, state media reported on Tuesday, which Tehran says could help it defeat the pandemic despite U.S. sanctions interfering with its ability to import vaccines.
Setad, a giant state-affiliated conglomerate controlled by Iran's supreme leader, said production of the vaccine developed by one of its companies, Shifa Pharmed, could reach 12 million doses per month, six months after a successful trial ends.
The first volunteers to take the vaccine were officials of the conglomerate and the daughter of its head, in an apparent effort to boost public confidence in the vaccine.
"The message of this act was that we do not see ourselves apart from the people, and we brought our family first to test this vaccine," Health Minister Saeed Namaki said, according to state broadcaster IRIB.
Iran has been the worst-hit country in the Middle East by the global COVID-19 pandemic. It complains that its ability to buy vaccines is hampered by U.S. financial sanctions, reimposed after the Trump administration abandoned a 2015 nuclear agreement. Food and medicine are exempt from the sanctions, but banks have been discouraged from financing Iranian deals.
Tehran said last week it had received approval from U.S. authorities to buy coronavirus vaccines from the World Health Organization-led COVAX alliance.
Iran's Red Crescent Society has said that, separately from the government, it was planning to import a Chinese vaccine.
