DG Anti-Corruption who was investigating corruption of Farah Khan, Bushra Khan, Sheikh Rasheed, Shirin Mazari, Usman Buzdar, Moonis Elahi and many others is replaced with immediate effect.

CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, DG Anti-Corruption Abdul Jabbar and DPO Jhang Sardar Ghias Gul Khan were relieved of their duties “with immediate effect” on Wednesday morning, according to a notification issued by the government of Punjab.
Kamyana and Jabbar were also asked to report to the Intelligence Bureau (IB), while Sardar Ghias was directed to report to the Cabinet Secretariat in Islamabad.

Reportedly, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was annoyed with Kamyana over the police's heavy-handedness in dealing with PTI supporters when they participated in the 'Azadi March' to the capital in May, a month after the no-confidence motion sent former prime minister and party chief Imran Khan packing.

Sources also say that many corruption cases against PTI leaders, including former chief minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and Farhat Shahzadi alias Farah Gogi, a close friend of the ex-first lady Bushra Bibi, were lodged as Abdul Jabbar had taken charge as DG anti-corruption.

The move comes after Punjab saw yet another dramatic turn of events late last night. Hours after the Supreme Court had struck down the Punjab Assembly deputy speaker’s ruling, President Dr Arif Alvi administered the oath of provincial chief executive to PTI candidate Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at the President House at 11.30pm on Wednesday.

Earlier this month, an anti-corruption unit in the Farah Gogi casehad arrested two accused belonging to the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC).

On July 19, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)-Lahore had summoned former first lady Bushra Bibi’s close friend Farah Khan, her husband Ahsan Iqbal Jamil and Chaudhry Majeed, along with 19 others, in the assets case against her.

IMO, every Pakistani should strictly stand behind the accountability of the corrupt, across the board - to enhance your understanding, every person or government institute is accountable for any wrongdoings. Here persons mean from any walk of life political, judicial, military, business, bureaucrat.

Here it seems the previous appointment of this person to cover up certain corruption cases already under investigation and to open new cases to divert attention. This is the usual way in Pakistan to manage corruption. How 'surrey mention' and 'London flats' were managed is an existing example of the previous two players. Of course, PTI is no exception, not all are angels in this party, and corrupts should be brought to justice.

The question is who will do it? Any institute/system for the purpose later imposed by limitations by consecutive governments. If you have knowledge of who formed the 'accountability department' under Mr. Saif-ur-Rehman? Do some research and it will bring you to senses.

Have any idea, how many years passed on and the victims and deads of 'model town incidents' are still waiting for justice? This is how justice is managed in Pakistan.

Pakistan needs strict judicial reforms for 'swift justice' based on 'real justice' - any attempt to clip the already feeble powers of the judiciary by any other institute to be resisted at all cost. Any other institute and person who tried to influence the judiciary or judge who got influenced should be dealt with as a Chinese model.

Just see, how many are absconding to the west and a convicted criminal who should stay behind the bars is 'on bail' with her husband for the dead purpose of taking care of his sick and dying father is influencing and vomiting against every institute of Pakistan, she thinks it is against their vested interest.

This was open and shut case, NAB chairman under Imran Khan colsed this case even it was proved in SC that PE gave this forest land to Malik Riaz in lieu of monetary benefits. It was like same case at mega level of Saqib Nisar capturing bottles from Shajeel Memon, PTI folks would keep drumming that Shajeel Memon Case but never utter a word on this case.
