The Cham Albanian issue is one of the most abrasive topic in Greek politics. It's possible Dendias wasn't expecting such a demand. But once again he used the glaring tactics to omit a challenging question. He picked the most pretentious card in the hand: Threatening the counterpart via Europe.

Answered: "I want to be honest with you. This means discussing real issues, ie issues that the Greek side accepts as existing and not issues that the Greek side considers not to exist. And of course, any attempt to create and discuss non-existent issues I fear will have consequences at multiple levels, e.g. the need for Greece to raise issues that concern your own accession process."

An explicit warning on blocking Albanian EU process.

Anyway the Cham Albanian issue is a taboo, you can find plenty of documents available on the internet, and also It's fathomable to see a politician trying to evade from such a hot topic. The problem is about Dendias's way of using EU as a leverage in all parts of diplomacy.

Turkey supports the political line of the Palestinian state and defends the Palestinian perspective. It declares that it openly defends a free and independent Palestine, whose capital is Quds, in accordance with the 1967 borders, not only in bilateral talks, but also in the UN General Assembly.
