when it comes to the indo-pak debate i'm a neutral spectator, i must comment that the video footage the indians released of the bombardment they did on those pak army positions were pretty devastating, i know pakistan showed a similar video, but the footage from the indian side there bombardment happened so fast no one on the pak side would have had time to react and dismount from the bunkers. Kashmir is a Muslim majority territory and indeed it should've joined Pakistan during independence of Islamic republic of Pak. King Nader took back Pakistan and now Kashmir is up to Pakistani brothers.

There were many Hindu majority areas which went to Pakistan and many Muslim majority areas in India. If partition happened only on the basis of Population then both countries would have looked like like chess board.

Its actually the other way around even districts like Jalhandar,Amritsar and Gurdaspur had Muslim majority but still they were given to India
