There is a dedicated contact channel between the DGMOs of both countries and I foresee that it will take care of this incident without it being further escalated.

Updates : The Afghan forces are targeting civilian population in Bacha Mina area of Pakistani side of the border which has panicked the people. While the Afghan post Shamshad has caught fire due to retaliatory firing by Pakistani side. PDF sources.
