You have no idea what you are talking about. The top illustration is an official design of what F-INSAS is intended to look like. The bottom pic is a VERY old pic of a concept by a private company at some DEF EXPO. Every DEF EXPO has a huge magnitude of private partners both domestic and foreign showing concepts along the lines of F-INSAS.

Clarify, this pic is NOT F-INSAS and has nothing to do with the official program.

I don't understand why people here think that India can't produce a good assault rifle!!I have operated the SLR(FN FAL) during my days in the NCC and talked to soldiers who had operated INSAS,they told me they had no problem with it.Most of here haven't operated a gun yet they jump to reach in conclutions without trying to search for the reality.
