FIA directed to issue red notice against Brahamdagh Bugti
February 28, 2017, 8:30 pm/ 1 Comment

The interior ministry on Tuesday directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to issue red notice against Brahamdagh Bugti, reported Waqt News.

Bugti, head of the banned Balochistan Republican Party, has been living in exile since the death of his grandfather Nawab Akbar Bugti in a military raid 10 years ago. He has also sought travel documents from the Indian government.

The ministry also directed for red notice against Sher Mohammad alias Shera on charges of terrorism. A notification issued by the interior ministry said both the accused were involved in "various terrorist attacks in Balochistan".

Bugti is at present residing in Switzerland without official authorisation from the Swiss government. He also claims that the Swiss government, which declined his application for an official ID in January 2016 on grounds that his party is on the terror watch list, is creating hurdles to his work, due to pressure from Pakistan.

Long overdue.

Anyone promoting terrorism should be apprehended and sent back.

Like Interpol took notice of our request for AH?
Just out of curiosity has Pakistan ever taken the case of AH to UNO? If not then Pakistan should have done that ages ago, same goes for this Bugti fella. Pakistani diplomacy has always failed to perform where most needed, these half-hearted attempts have never earned Pakistan anything. If they really want this Bugti guy to be deported back to Pakistan, then Pakistan must pursue this case like nothing else matters and this must be supplemented by International diplomatic support of friendly states like China. Further they should use media to defend Pakistani narrative be it right or wrong.

Seems like already felt the heat yet buttering Interpol with twisting the facts. Hopefully, direction for red warrants were issued based upon proper working and evidences. It would be more interesting that what his handlers have to say, would be expecting No from authorities like AH.
i dont get it if he's such a threat, then why dont you finish him off. mossad do it and recently the north koreans.
do the kim yong un method!

None will curse Mosad or NK for that but we have enough internal Mafia to exploit such situations and also, a trial will actually expose his face as well as his handlers. He is not just a threat for us but an asset to someone else that I am sure, if the time came and he had to be handed over, what you refers would actually be done with him by his master.

He is not a liability for us but a bank of information and by by issuing the warrants either we will be grilling him soon or he will be done like Kim did to his brother.

ISLAMABAD: Interior ministry has asked Federal Investigation Agency to approach Interpol Secretariat to issue red warrants for Brahamdagh Bugti and Sher Muhammad.

“I am directed to convey approval of the competent authority for the issuance of Red Notices against accused Brahamdagh Bugti and Sher Muhammad (BRA) who are involved in various terrorist attacks in Balochistan province,” interior ministry official wrote to DG FIA on Tuesday.

Brahamdagh Bugti is a traitor: Sanaullah Zehri

Brahamdagh and Sher Ali are allegedly involved in terrorist activities. Pakistan is seeking help of Interpol to arrest him and his accomplice. Interior ministry has asked FIA to keep it updated on the issue.

The government in September last year had decided to write to Interpol for the extradition of the Baloch separatist. Brahamdagh was seeking political asylum in India after Switzerland turned down his request for refuge.

Brahamdagh had fled to Afghanistan after his grandfather Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed in a military operation in Kohlu in 2006. Later he flew to Switzerland via India to seek asylum there. He is accused of leading the Baloch Republican Army, a proscribed separatist group blamed for militant violence in Balochistan.

While fleeing to Afghanistan, Brahamdagh Bugti had accused the Musharraf regime of trying to kill him as well. He won refuge in Afghanistan despite Pakistan’s request for his return, and later moved to Europe in 2010 along with his family.

Brahamdagh Bugti set to seek asylum in India

The Times of India had quoted a home ministry official as saying that Bugti had applied for asylum in Indian consulate in Geneva. In response to this, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said Bugti’s request for asylum in India was indicative of India’s involvement in terrorism in Balochistan.
