FGFA vs J-XX

So as long as Russia can deliver a minimum degree of supercruise ( which they can easily do with that flattened Su27 frame - so called "Pak Fa T-50 1st prototype", powered by 117s) and reasonable RCS reduction plus some RAM ( "stealthy", slightly better than ET, rafale etc 4+ gen), it can then say to India see this is "5th gen". In fact, it could be 4.6 gen, 4.78 gen. 4.82 gen... no one could take Ruskies to an int'l court for any disagreement on those with ambiguous terms. What India would do then? Cry?

^^^That was a waste of space and my time, bring something that makes sense or that is technical rather than the above nonsense.

After India bought it, Indians could then try to copy -paste their own FAGA according to it. Then whatever happens later would be India's biz, Ruskies can say that they have delivered the contract. LThen later , Russia would put the best tech into their own either PaK FA block 2 or completely another airframe thus Indians will have no claim on it whatsoever according to the old contract.

For your sake you do realize that the FGFA will be designed specifically for India and that India will also be involved with the design? The part about India copying and pasting the PAK-FA makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, not in this universe, not in any. Unlike some countries India doesn't blantently copy, even if it wanted to Russia would be able to control the situation by setting certain clauses including not providing source codes.

By the same token, China's J-20 can be said, with almost certainty, to be technologically superior to "Pak FA" (what India buys).

What on earth are you talking about? The FGFA has not yet been completed and India will receive all or almost all the same avionics as the Russian version if they wish, if Russia wants they can deny India sourse codes to protect their technology but that is up to Sukhoi and all the consortium of companies involved with the PAK-FA/FG-FA. If for whatever reason Russia doesn't want to give India their best avionics systems than Countries such as Israel and France will sell some of their most advanced avionics to India.

Pak Fa is a smoke screen. Whether it's 5th gen or 4.6 gen ( no one can judge as long as it has arguable "4s", minimum though) doesn't matter to Russia at all. Russia won't give a hoot about it. It is no more than a commercial deal to make $$$, got it?

No i don't 'get it', last heard Russia has already invested 30 billion into the project, India is involved because it will help with the cost much like partner nations in the F-35 program. Sukhoi will make money obviously but the PAK-FA program was devised by the Russian government and not Sukhoi, Sukhoi just happened to get the contract, which beggs the question, what is your point because you seem to not have one.

Seriously stop embarrassing yourself, as stated the Silent Eagle has inline intakes but it solved this by intake blockers and by doing so it managed to get it's rcs to the same level as the F-35 as for circling the pak-fa canopy and comparing it to the J-20 that just shows your ignorance, and ignorance that is all too easy to see especially when you can't come up with a decent rebuttal for my previous posts.

I explained the science of radar and you pasted some pictures with circles  you have no business posting anything related to stealth.

For all readers interested read #210 explaing how radar waves interact with serfaces and how they dissipate.

Why not be fair and post a picture of the J-20's nice and juicy canards?

Even F 35 has a frame to its cockpit glass.

F 23 which is considered more stealthy than F 22 has similar air inlets.

so if the mesh on the F 35 air inlets are removed then the whole engine blades are visible...

So you tell me that F 35 and YF 23 are not stealthy?....if you are then you are delusional.

now this is quite clear picture, this is actually a Chinese star instead of Russian, i really taught that was Russian Star.
Heil China :yes2:

after Collapse of soviet union Russian's r nt using Red Star

Man Time is precious and every second lost cannot be regained.

No, no be careful according to 'reliable Chinese sources' a one piece canopy will make any aircraft invisible  apparently engineers of the F-35 and pak-fa were too stupid to treat the frame with RAM or treat the canopy surface.

They are still shamelessly ignoring the fact that the Silent Eagle has exposed intakes while managing a frontal rcs of the F-35.

Apparently the PAK-FA's nozzles were also 'not stealthy' odd how the same fanboys that made those comments are now quiet about the J-20.

Sometimes ignorance is a bliss...dont u agree?:smitten:

Sorry but the X-36 was an experimental small scale aircraft that was scraped.

The KFX is nothing more than a toy model.

The Mig 1.44 was a technology demonstrator and by no means a stealth aircraft.

Sukhoi has been around longer than Chengdu and appearently huzhigeng says this: "There have been Russians working at 611 since the 90s! The Russian engineers at 611 are primarily airframe/structural experts. We are paying them well right now". Russians working for China contributed to the design, so by saying Russians have not yet mastered stealth is somewhat of a backfire statement.

Yes,but they are not The backbone now.and you should know these Russian engineers at 611 from 1990s collect Chinese wages. They work for 611,not Sukhoi.
Lack of aviation industry investment,Russia brain drain is serious.

To all friends:
T50 is developed by Russia, not India. We can't underestimate it.We should know Russia is still the world's second aviation industry power
While the Russian aviation industry meet bottleneck,This maybe only a temporary.

Russia lacks an aviation industry? Sukhoi is one of the most successful aviation companies in the worlds, even in the 1990's they worked on the SU-34, different SU-27, SU-35 and SU-30 varients, they also had a number of prototype aircraft including SU-37 and SU-47. Ironic how China purchased aircraft during and after the brain drain period, If Russia was so brain drained why did China purchase aircraft that were build by these brain drained Russians, better question what would that make China?
