an old video when CDGK was persuing mass transit system in Karachi in corporation with chinese and french mass transit companies, all was set and companies had come to the city but Federal govt only needed to provide sovereign guarentee(guarentee of refunding all the investment if the situation forced investors to abandon their plans) for the project

Well Federal govt didnt give sovereign guarantee to Punjab govt either for underground metro train but did Punjab govt make a big fuss and gave up? No, they introduced MBS. If Punjab govt can, why cant the sindh govt do the same? Imagine what couldve happen if karachi had its own MBS? It wouldve been twice as successful as any metro service anywhere in the world.
Its all about motivation and dedication to do something for the people. I remember how Shahbaz sharif used to visit MBS route every morning at 6. Do you think anyone in the sindh govt can even think about getting up at 6 in his wildest dream, let alone mingling with the common man out in the open without a protocol?

MBS wasn't built by a foreign company, or invested, it was made by punjab government, the turkish team is only running the project

there is a difference between CDGK and the punjab government, for example punjab government has laws in its own hands especially the 18th amendment, not the federal government can't stop punjab government to make anything or punjab being the guarentor on its own

where as CDGK did't even hold the revenue department, CDGK's own budget can't be matched with punjab government's

shahbaz made MBS because he thought he can make it before election and present it as an election stunt, KCR wasn't meant as an election stunt it is part of bigger transportation planning which was going on around that time
