I doubt most ppl on this forum have ever visited Balochistan.. there is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent such attacks or ambushes, the mountains there are so dense and vast, and its a piece of cake for terrorists to lay an ambush, plant an IED and then hide in the mountains... you cannot blame Pak army or FC tactics for this, if an ambush is laid you're basically a sticking duck as terrorists would have solid cover of the mountains, you cannot even perform special Ops in those mountains, there is just so much room for terrorist to hide.. Only a strong intelligence network, COIN operations and pin point drone attacks (similar to that of US in Afghanistan) can prevent such attacks ..


But we really need to improve our intelligence network in Balochistan and all around the border, else we're doomed.
