FBR revenue collection crosses 4 trillion for the first time, stands at 4143b an 18% growth and still counting.

The actual revenue collection upto end of May was about Rs 4350b but around 200b have already been refunded to the people owed. Hence you see the net number of Rs 4143b.


This also a massive change in this government, they introduced the FASTER scheme through which you can apply for refunds and get them in 24-48hours. In previous governments you won't see refunds for months/years. Also it was a strategy employed by Ishaq Dar to not give refunds before end of fiscal year to inflate revenue collection number. PTI is collecting way more revenue than PML-N even with the refunds and without the import fees.

buddy these refunds usually go into the pockets of fbr officials.... i own a factory and i have to give 40-50 % of my refund to get the rest otherwise they wont even process it!
What I and many other buisness owners have requested over the years from government officials is that instead of returning it, just deduct it from taxes next year... in this way atleast the state gets the money... but these corrupts at FBR never let this happen.

We will have exports + remittences of 60b this yr
(This is 20% of our gdp)
Up frm 43b in 2018!(12% of gdp)

The con artist that destroyed our economy.
Printed 7 trillion rupees in their 5 year tenure. Exports less than PPP. Current account deficit more than 4 times that of PPP.
They left the country in every possible way worse than PPP.

They have the audacity to call other incompetent. They are born stage actors and manipulative liars, the entire lot of plmn.

Refunds are through direct bank deposit now. Maybe you need to setup your account with FBR.
