Fazal ur Rehman feel back stabbed by PM on FATA reforms

ISLAMABAD – A strong ally of incumbent Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) government, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) chief Fazl ur Rehman on Thursday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif deceived him on Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) merger issue, besides rejecting the decision of federal cabinet to integrate the FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Talking to a private news channel, he said that it was unacceptable for them, adding “We refuse the decision of the cabinet”.

He added, “I will protest the decision before the Nawaz Sharif tomorrow on the inauguration of Tangi Dam.

Today, the federal cabinet approved recommendations put forth by the Federally Administered Tribal Areas reforms (FATA) committee under which FATA would be integrated with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
