Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi lead cast of Maula Jatt 2: Bilal Lashari
Prominent director Bilal Lashri who is also working on the remake of hit Punjabi blockbuster film ‘Maula Jatt’ said, in the remake, Fawad Khan will play the role of ‘Maula Jatt, whereas Hamza Ali Abbasi will be Noori Nath.
Talking to Express Tribune Bilal Lashari said that concept of Punjabi Hero in our movies is that someone who has strong physical structure is fit to be hero.
“It has to be a lot more than just physcial exaggeration and that is why Fawad as Maula Jatt and Hamza as Noori Nath will come as an amazing shocker for the audience.” Bilal to tribune.
Revealing bit of story-line line Bilal Lashari said,”It’s a gamble but it’s not a remake, movie has completely different story.”
The movie is set to release next year 2017, however the date has not been fixed.
According to Facebook page of Maula Jatt 2, Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sanam Jung, Shamoon Abbasi and Adnan Jaffar are the main cast of the movie.
Story is written by Nasir Adib and director of movie Bilal Lashari.The film will be co-produced by an American production house.
