Fault lines of Singapore: Is color revolution looming?

.
Meanwhile Singaporeans other than Malays are not procreating. On average Chinese woman has < 1 child.

Singaporean men hate their women.

I spoke to some Singaporeans and they seems piss off at the ruling government due to increase cost of living while wages are stagnant and happily vote for the opposition party if it's good. The only opposition party is the workers party.

Race war doesn't exist in Singapore, only hate for the ruling government.

Singapore Malay put Islam and terrorism before state.

***************************************************

A Singaporean man accused of financing terrorism stood trial on Monday (Jan 13) in what is the first case of its kind in Singapore under the Terrorism (Suppression of Financing) Act.

Asked whether he pleaded guilty or claimed trial, Imran answered: "I can't plead guilty or not plead guilty because I don't recognise Singapore law. I only recognise Islamic law."

I think you are hitting nail on the head. When I was living in Singapore, after initial infatuation with the city, I felt that the establishment is really lacklustre. Yes, they got a well functioning city, and sane mainline socialist line.

Back 40 years ago, when not a single country in Asia did well, that could've been quite passable, but now Singapore looks nothing more than an overpriced mid-tier city. All at the same time when the establishment engages in political fetishism, lionising its commitment to stability and status quo.

Back in 2007, it hit me: how in the world are locals being so conformist with Lee? Part of it was fear of the unknown, part it being PAP being quite integrated with power families, and part that no better option was on the table.

Now however, I feel Singapore may have its "Trump moment," when unwashed masses may vote in just anybody to get rid of PAP, regardless of consequences.

GOS is walking on a tightrope. Indians are rioting big time. Malays are plotting terror. Mentally illed LGBTs are getting aggressive in demands.

Lee family feud became public.

This is the maximum freedom GOS can offer.

Lol I can tell you the majority of Singaporeans nag at the government everyday but they are still pro-PAP in the heart. I can be sure that the PAP will still win the majority of votes in the coming general election.

wages are stagnant

Which developed economy with similar income levels has their real income rise as fast as in Singapore for the past 5, 10 or 20 years?

Stagnating? 4.2% REAL income growth on average from 2013-2018. Not too far from urban China's 5.6% real income growth. Would you say incomes in urban China are stagnating?

Today Singapore has an horrible situation of 1000 homeless people. GoS keep coming out with rosy data.

In the past, at a point of time, Lee Kuan Yew eradicated homelessness.

***********************************

The first nationwide study of homelessness in Singapore found that about 1,000 people were sleeping on the street.

2/3 of your chart is 7 years out of date, while the last one doesn't explain about the cost of living. Many of the Singaporeans prefer living overseas if given the chance.

Problem is when there are too many Indian immigrants in any country you will start to see racial tensions. Indians cannot be fare in work place, they will bring Indians only once an Indian gets in the position to hire, a company will be flooded with Indians and eventually other races will start to resent them. I am starting to see this same pattern here in Canada.

.
Indians are King in Singapore. Every of their problems are due to Chinese discriminations.

actually this was what came in my social media that got me thinking singapore has a huge race problems. There is nothing that wrong or that noteworthy the indian there did. Apparently parking fees in expensive condos is an issue in singapore and it was a trying time for him. But this became national viral with thousands of mainly poorer chinese singaporeans baying for his blood. he is a singapore citizen but the govt was forced to verify that and also verify his education credentials. He apologized to that security guard and the "uncle" said he forgave him. But it did not end. singapore govt ofcourse did nothing there is nothing to do after all.

I was taken back at the viciousness of a population supposedly so prosperous engaging in such race baiting on a trivial issue. There are some problems brewing there.

while the last one doesn't explain about the cost of living.

Do you understand the meaning of real growth? You were saying wages were stagnant and isn't catching up to the rising cost of living, and I proved you wrong.
