The call for Azadi has been echoing since Fatima Jinnah's time

Eyewitness account Liaqat Ali Khan assassination

Fatima Jinnah sounds like second Quaid-i-azam yet she was successfully suppressed and probably killed.

Tells you history is written by the victors. Today if people don't stand up same thing will happen again

Remember she was the presidential candidate of combined Pakistan with mujeeb ur rehman supporting her
She was as popular as Imran Khan but we saw what happened she lost and probably was later killed off

Hence I don't believe anymore mujeeb was involved with India. Why would he support her then..

its worse because people were so blinded by the junta. but no more.

Also remember the election was immediately followed by 1965 war and later on Fatima Jinnah disposal

its worse because people were so blinded by the junta. but no more.
1965 was wa a probably created to cover up the elections

Don't be surprised if a new war is created on the border

Popular yet failed and was killed off with legacy stronger then Imran Khan

She was popular both in east and west Pakistan

that is what happened. ayub faced serious criticism fololwing the elections, and protests. he saw his popularity fading. that is why he dusted off the gibraltar plan and decided to execute it. to regain political backing, and for personal glory.

may not have been killed though. "they" gradually developed their tactics over decades. people didnt have a long lifespan back then anyways, and she was around 74 when she passed away.

She was ahead of the times, the people with big egos who rubbed shoulders with foreign agents did not enjoy her standing with Public

Of course back then the everyday people did not knew the full story

We have been here before many times, the legitimate leaders are disposed off by the oppressors. This is our history and we cannot change that, but today we are at this crossroad again. What can we do different so that our current leader, IK does not go the way of his predecessors?

Jinnah's great-gradnson lives in India. I met his couple of times, very down to earth even though he is SUPER rich.
Ironically his core company is called Bombay DYEING . A lot of people in Bombay died when people cme from Pakistan. He also owns Punjab IPL team.

It was an old tradition that those who were filthy rich were used to be extremely down to earth. But now ....

It is the tradition in India even today.

Modi calls himself a Fakir(Beggar) and his followers s use his humble origins.

Dr. Abdul Kalam became president because he was a poor orphan who rose to become a famous rocket scientist. Remains the most popular president of all times.

Rahul Gandhi showed the torn pockets inside his Kurta to show he isn't some rich spoilt brat. (it backfired)

Indians appreciate someone from the bottom of the society rising to the top with hard work. The "self-made" have much more respect in society than ameerzadas.
