to let tyranny flourish

YOU YOUrself sould consinder your own words and then try to imagine how other ppl think maybe you can find some empathy I personally doubt that you can do this, its like everywhere ppl are just fooled by systems like leninizm, kommunizm, fashizm, or other totalitary systems they are in this system of propaganda and are just blind they only see things that they WANT to see.. you cannot talk with them its like talking to a wall..

I can give you some exsamples if you look to iranian or syrian threats than you will see what I mean..

so can anone close this bullshit threat?

Yes, I've often tried to imagine what it's like to live under a totalitarian tyranny. I draw a difference between people trying to survive one and people seeking to serve or profit by one. The former are pitiable while the latter are wicked. Yet the wicked may see the error of their ways and seek to change the regime and the people trying to survive protect the weak. Thus Rommel's participation in the plot to assassinate Hitler and the few Europeans who risked their lives protect Jews from the Nazi genocide.

I had thought that Turks, given their history, could muster the strength to battle tyranny once more - to rise to the challenge of the day, rather than try to avoid it. Am I mistaken?

Totalitarian Tyranny is way too exaggerated in Turkeys case, its still a elected goverment that can be voted out.

If you think that the president of Turkey can be assassinated and thus the whole country plunged into chaos you can go to hell. Do you think Turkey is some banana republic where just because foreign scum like you don't approve of the government ,that the government should be toppled through any means necessary even if it goes against national will?

You can keep your neo con views to yourself you poisonous little rat.

I don't know. By clamping down on casual comments and insults as treason Erdo ranks as authoritarian in my book. The "national will" is thus becoming something he in part shapes because people are too terrified to say something in opposition to him, yes?

Relax: I have no intention of toppling the Turkish government with my ten little fingers. Have things really gone so far that the only measure left for Turks to stop his aggrandizement of power is assassination? I think not but I do think you'll have to pay far closer attention to elections and elections fraud than you have in the past.

People chose him, no matter what you claim. Every international body was monitoring the elections (filled by people that just want to throw shit at Turkey like you) and nothing was concluded. If there had been election fraud Erdogan would have been caught and every Western newspaper would have screamed bloody murder ( just look at the Kobane incident where there was a huge defamation campaign aimed against the Republic by Western media- only this time it would have been for a just reason).

So this is the message: Turkey chose him, Turkey will vote him out or keep him in. It's OUR choice, keep your nose out of it.

And you're confident it will remain your choice, to vote him out or not?

He hit the wall with me... I still appreciate him for the practice he provided me with on how to counter stupid and one sided arguments.
