I mean after all that happened in last 4,5 months, people still think this country is being run by a civilian government independently. Big LOL.

The way this country runs, if someone is confused is that the military makes the policy, then it feeds that policy to the gov thru defence ministry or another forum, and the and ask the gov to rubber stamp it and that's how fingers point at the civilian gov when things go south. That's how we are led to believe this country can't be run by civilians because "meetha meetha hub hub karwa karwa tho"

Actually Imran khan was the only one predicting this fiasco to not remove his gov, and change military officials in mid of afghan pullout. Apparently he is the only one who could see the fallout and self appointed geniuses went fully against him in revenge and are still hell bent on removing the most popular leader and biggest party from face of politics in pakistan.

A great leaders once said. "I was the commander in chief of Pakistan so who were the Americans telling to?".

TTP is finished. There has been no resurgence in last 5-7 years. If there is a resurgence it cannot be without a conspired engineered design to target PTI, exactly a concern Imran khan has voiced in his speech today.

If the public opinion can be swung away by blaming resurgence of terrorism on Imran khan, then desired results can be achieved to damage PTI and destroy IK's politics.

That is what is going on here.

In this country issues occur over night like it's a mushroom that sprung. Anyone who can use his head will see thru it. Idiots are those who think this is actually an organic comeback.

However , when a decorated Air Marshal , who gave his blood, sweat and personal health to the JF-17 project and made that dream come true, disagrees with their political opinion, they forget his contributions like a drunk talk...

There probably is more to this but the AM is fed what his friends and connections circle tell him - so if he is fed that someone from PTi is letting in TTP he will regurgitate it hook line and sinker.

However, as improbable as the idea that PTi leadership would like TTP back in Swat seems - it cannot be purely out of thin air. Maybe not PTi but someone definitely is letting them back in and oddly I would first ask those with the keys to the kingdom and those manning the moat as to how TTp(or PTM for that matter) come in easily? What prevents the job description of the various agencies whose task it is(and not just of a political party using its connections) to ensure internal and external security that elements like these roam around.

They can definitely shed light as to what gets in their way

Just one simple question to Pakistani posters, what is this so called "military leadership/establishment"?
Are they some kind of elites, like political candidates (who's parents are also veteran politicians, and these politicians make sure that there children make it to the top echelons of politics via hook or crook)

Is this leadership made up of "grass root/common man" candidates who have gone rouge after joining these organizations?
