I do hope he will receive a special treatment as a precedent to those who may wish to follow his footsteps.

Thumb-crushing them at an early stage is best for national security.

Going soft on them will backfire because they will equally try to go hard on you.

I do hope that the VCP has the required political consciousness and strong will not to back down under the pressure of strategically-constructed weaponized notions of human rights and the likes.

Syria would not be in the situation it is now if the government had preempted West-backed Islamist protests or, at least, crush them swiftly in the first few days.
