Reality---Pakistan has far more problems than India regarding religious fundamentalists.Even though Pakistan took a big leap ahead of india economically in 60s and 70s now they are in a big mess compared to India.

There are quite a few socioeconomic factors India does far worse than Pakistan in. In terms of how the average Indian & Pakistan fare in their respective countries, they would be categorized in the same group, whereas China would be placed in a far far higher/more privileged group. It irks Indians that China is far ahead of them in every front of life, & even though they want their nation to compete with China, all socioeconomic & political indicators show that India & Pakistan are much more similar/closer to one another than India & China. India would like to think they are competitors with China & the 'other superpowers', whereas Pakistan is at par with Afghanistan; but that couldn't be further from the truth.
