Actually the Hummer sale didn't happen. The Chinese government blocked it...so GM shut it down.

They had way too many divisions. Each would put slightly different body panels on the same car. So when the top selling car lists came out they'd never be close to the top since they'd be divided among divisions.

Even the GMC Yukon you mentioned is a rebadged Chevy Tahoe. Now imagine that split by four.
