Wow, if you know this then how can you forget that Khad was carrying out terrorist attacks in Pakistan.. a lot IED attacks ..Soviets were also the enemies of Pakistan. When soviets were defeated, then peace returned to Pakistan and after Afghan Taliban took over then not only terrorism but even smuggling of drugs and narcotics ended. So that was the most peaceful time.
This is all propaganda, 80s was pretty peaceful time in pakistan , I lived through 80s as a child. After Zia's death pakistan got weak leadership in establishment and we used to have a lot of terrorism and blasts in 90s particularly sectarian related or sometimes RAW related but they were nothing compared to what ensued after 9/11 and particularly in late 2000s when there was a blast somewhere on weekly basis.
