F - 16s needed for counter- terror Ops - Pak tells US

How do you know this???? I think you are believing the guess work of US think tanks.....They themselves say that they have no clue on the number of weapons both india and pak posses...... Every year they come up with a headline saying both are increasing the weapon and some how the number remained 90-110 every year......
it's an estimate based on numerous factors, from material available, to movement of vital parts that can be tracked. They don't have a clear number, but their estimations should be pretty accurate.

The guess work is only based on the estimated material availability....... But as i said in my previous post, their estimates are may not be accurate.... The only way to know this is by both nations declaring their number of weapons, which i do not see happening for some time to say the least....

Except Pakistanis, no one has accused India of that. Whereas I am positive that Pakistan is expanding at faster rate than anyone.

New US Concerns About Pakistan's Nuclear Doctrine

US Concerned Over Security of Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons -The New Indian Express
Don't just go on Indian news websites that post one sided arguments, actually read US nuclear threat assessment reports. You can easily google them, as they're freely available to the public.

Both Pakistan and India are set to grow their nuclear arsenals. India isn't testing newer nuclear capable missiles just for show, and it certainly isn't decommissioning or getting rid of its old stockpile. Most estimates put India's nuclear growth at about 5-6 weapons annually.

.
But Aziz urged the Obama administration to do more “to bring Congress fully in the picture about the positive steps taken by Pakistan to further our mutual interests and the very significant change in ground realities that has taken place in the past two-and-a-half years,".
this is the good development from Pakistani side..

just like the number of WMDs iraq possessed?? they destroyed a country and then said sorry our intel was wrong.

yes we are expanding it at a faster rate and do you have any problem with that?? you should have. pak nukes ,if ever used, will be against india. you brought this menace to the region and now be ready for the consequences. so far these nukes have saved us from indian invasion in 2008 and US invasion after OBL incident. in the book "obama's wars" the author admits that attacking a country with the fastest growing nuclear arsenal in the world would be insanity.

Calm down...take a break.

Keep laughing but this also gives more reason to tell the world we have to keep increasing the nuclear stockpile

Laugh all you want, but the truth is the truth.

I'm laughing because I find it a fanciful idea that Pakistan would give up its nukes even if India does so. Nuclear weapons give Pakistan parity with India given India's conventional superiority. No disrespect intended.

well think about it why does pakistan have nukes? because india does. and why does india have nukes? because china has nukes, and why does china the uk and france have nukes? the soviet union, they have nukes and why do they have nukes? because the united states have nukes.
basically point being pakistan wont give up the nukes but may do if india does, but they wont give them up, but may do if china does give their nukes up. and it continues up the line to the usa.
also this thread is about f16's so where the nukes come from?

The fair rule, whoever started the first should end it first and after all the N thing is assurance of our security especially against the enemy that purchasing everything labeled as weapon so to set an example the Big should start by reducing N weapons so in the end the smallest will follow the same. Rest about F-16s, indeed are feasible and required in WOT.

.
We will always have an excuse to increase our nuclear stockpile as long as india is there. india wont reduce and we wont be compelled to do so. WHICH means we ll be having nukes and alot of them and with more variety. Now laughs plz. :-)

First of all, India's stockpile is also increasing at a fast pace, and it is set to overtake Pakistan in production rate, as it's ambitions grow. Second, Pakistan doesn't care about India's reasoning, just as India doesn't care about Pakistan's. Your point is moot.
Whatever reports we have seen - only point to Pakistan's stockpile increasing at a drastic pace, I have not read about Indian stockpile growing at a "fast pace".

Report: Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal could become the world’s third-biggest - The Washington Post

The report by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the Stimson Center concludes that Pakistan is rapidly expanding its nuclear capabilities because of fear of its archrival, India, also a nuclear power. The report, which will be released Thursday, says Pakistan is far outpacing India in the development of nuclear warheads.

Analysts estimate that Pakistan has about 120 nuclear warheads, while India has about 100.

In the coming years, the report states, Pakistan’s advantage could grow dramatically because it has a large stockpile of highly enriched uranium that could be used to quickly produce low-yield nuclear devices.

India has far larger stockpiles of plutonium, which is needed to produce high-yield warheads, than Pakistan does. But the report says India appears to be using most of its plutonium to produce domestic energy.

Second, does not matter what twisted PoV Pakistan has for increasing its stockpile at a dramatic pace, world believes that yours and Pakistan's reasons and PoV are just stupid.
