Iranian Tomcats have probably seen more action than the American Naval ones

The best fighting machine ever built. Very unfortunate that the company making it went bankrupt. Some one should make upgraded copies of this plane. It is a shame that this supreme design goes to waste. I do not think there is any fighter even F-22 that can take on this plane. With an anti-stealth radar, this plane can take out F-22 like chickens.

Yep. F-22 makes alot of aerodynamic compromises to achieve stealth. Once its stealth is defeated by use of a AESA anti-stealth radar, then the advantage is shifted to an upgraded F-14, with thrust vectoring and the anti-stealth radar. Remember that F-14 can carry large air2air missiles. Upgraded air2air missile in the weight category F-14 can carry would allow F-22s to be shot down from far away much farther than the F-22 missiles can be fired. And in dog fight also F-22 would lose because of aerodynamic compromises. End of story.

What is with the pirate (Jolly Roger) stuff ?

I know western ships/submarines fly the jolly roger when they have achieved a kill... is this the paractice amongst American Naval aviators too ?
