Here is what I think of Express Tribune

1. To promote despondency, question Pakistan basis and viability.
2. To plant stories that makes Islam as the religion of villains and the source of all bad things.
3. To make western values in our country acceptable - drinking, same-sex marriage and free choice.
4. To show Pakistan is persecuting its citizen based on religion, sect.

The biggest joke are their editorials. They are NYT/IHT themed editorials and they never ever project Pakistan side of the issue/story. This is just ridiculous. It looks like their editorial staff is in New York, not Karachi.

In all, its just a well presented blog. The original stories written by their staff have so many mistakes. No one seems to have proof read them. The title of the story many times is totally at variance with the body of the report.

express news and tribune is owned by agha khanis/ismaelis....they originally come from india...but since they had factories and businesses in karachi...they decided to move to Pakistan after 1947.

Dawn in my opinion is probably the best Pakistani newspaper. Express tribune comes across as being unprofessional at times when reporting. As for the expres tribune blog/opinion section: while some of the stuff written in those sections are good, most of it seems to be written by people who think they're very intellectual and liberal, but in reality aren't. They should also monitor their comment sections more.

The worst media outlet of Pakistan in my opinion.

The Jang group is more mature than them. The blog section especially, contains the worst pieces of articles and it looks like every a-hole in the world is a Pakistani youngster.

Giving so much freedom to the media for me was one of the worst thing mushi did , there should be some control and monitoring of the news especially the ones that are broadcasted outside Pakistan . For the sake of sensationalization to gain money they have just ruined the image of the country .

And as most of us know all the debate shows or current affair programs involving political personalities are just fabricated and nothing serious is put in it to achieve something productive rather they are more of destructive in nature

No media is as worst as the one in Pakistan , they are working against the country's interests
