Exposing anti-Palestinian Propaganda thread

Nobody really cares about Israel/Palestine any more. It's a pretty minor issue compared to everything else going on in the world.

It's a major political crisis, even if people have tired of it, won't make it any less important. Some people have already tired of the Syrian conflict and declare it no longer important/tragic. For politicians and political activists this region is very important and concerning to us. The difference between Syrian and I/P conflict is the I/P conflict largely one sided therefore may not be interesting to people.

Basically, Jews want to live at peace with their neighbors. Jews would also like to be friends with them, but for Israel it's very difficult since personal friendships are often forbidden by law or custom: in Gaza the penalty for "collaboration" is death, in Egypt the penalty for "Zionism" is loss of citizenship (and property too, I suppose.)

Once a person is radicalized into hating Israel it's easy for them to fall in with other terrorist causes. That's because to hate Israel you've pretty much dumped most of the qualities of modern civilization: truth, civil and property rights, etc. Because if you did believe in those things then you'd have to side with the Jews of Israel over their opponents.

After that, why battle faraway Jews when there's a next-door neighbor who one could steal from instead, maybe with the help of a friend? In this way rule-of-law is broken and rule-by-gang and dictatorship is advanced.

Hate is a strong word but I don't know how a Palestinian teenager growing up in Gaza would feel any sympathy for Israel. The fact that his life is controlled either by Hamas or Israel, there is no third option. That third option is to have access to education, health facilities, economic well being and most importantly freedom to travel without being harassed at check points. Gaza is essentially a prison, Hamas being the prison guards. Israel controls the prison, what goes in and what goes out. Just try to think on this point for a while. Try imaging living like prisoners for generation, lets see how much sympathy you would have for your neighbours.

I'm sure majority of Israeli citizens do wish to live in peace.

"The Hamas party won the Palestinian legislative elections on 25 January 2006, and Ismail Haniyeh was nominated as Prime Minister,[5] establishing a Palestinian national unity government with Fatah, which effectively collapsed when Hamas and Fatah engaged in a violent conflict. After the takeover in Gaza by Hamas on 14 June 2007, Palestinian Authority Chairman Abbas dismissed the Hamas-led government and appointed Salam Fayyad as Prime Minister.[6] Though the new government's authority is claimed to extend to all Palestinian territories, in effect it became limited to the West Bank, as Hamas hasn't recognized the move and continued to rule the Gaza Strip.[7] Both administrations – the Fatah government in Ramallah and the Hamas government in Gaza– regard themselves as the sole legitimate government of the Palestinian National Authority. The international community and Palestine Liberation Organization, however, recognize the Ramallah administration as the legitimate government.[citation needed]"

Gaza was supposed to be an example that peace is possible, and that Palestinians and Israelies can live side by side, from the idea of Gaza as a modern place, it became a war zone which doesn't recognize Israel and it's right to exist and didn't want to quit from violence.

"The blockades of the Gaza Strip refers to a land, air, and sea blockade on the Gaza Strip by Israel and Egypt from 2007 to present. After the 2005 disengagement from the Gaza Strip by Israel, in 2006, Hamas won thePalestinian legislative election, triggering the 2006–07 economic sanctions against the Palestinian National Authority by Israel and the Quartet on the Middle East after Hamas refused to quit violence, respect previous agreements and recognize Israel.[1] In March 2007, Hamas and Fatah formed a Palestinian authority national unity government headed by Ismail Haniya. Shortly after, in June, Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in the course of the Battle of Gaza,[2] seizing government institutions and replacing Fatah and other government officials with its own.[3] Following the takeover, Egypt and Israel largely sealed their border crossings with Gaza, on the grounds that Fatah had fled and was no longer providing security on the Palestinian side.[4]
Israel maintains that the blockade is necessary to limit
Palestinian rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip on its cities and to prevent Hamas from obtaining other weapons.[5][6][7] Prior to its 2011 opening of the Rafah crossing, Egypt maintained that it could not fully open its side of the border since completely opening the border would represent Egyptian recognition of the Hamas control of Gaza, undermine the legitimacy of the Palestinian National Authorityand consecrate the split between Gaza and the West Bank.[8]"

What the **** are you talking about coon? Gaza is Palestinian land, 'Israeli's never ever existed in it'. They tried colonizing it but couldn't prevent the locals from foiling their plans unlike in the West Bank and pulled out. Gaza wasn't supposed to be an example for anything. 'Israeli's' can live 'side-by-side' in their countries of origin.

Oh you're right, Gaza was meant to be a poor place without future.
Instead of being a modern place where it's residents can advance their private goals, it's became a militarized place where Hamas can launch it's agendas against Israel .

Gaza has nothing to do with you, it's not yours and you have no connection it. You are a European, drop your false identity. Don't worry about Palestine, Palestine will thrive as a state once the colonizing Judaic creed receives their judgement by international community in same way justice was had against Hitler. Once the illegal mafia Jewish extremist group is put behind bars, Palestinian will be modernized and they will form a national military.

Do you have connections with Likud you fucking terrorist?

Palestine was never a country, it was merely a geographic place.
You can keep your hatred to yourself, since I have no interest it.

Israel was never a country, Palestine was a nation of peoples just like any other before post WW2 period where nation states were declared. The British however came illegally and prevented the formation of independent Palestinian state. If you get too carried off like the British did, your empire will collapse. You will become victim of your selves.

If everyone in that region is stupid enough to believe in Abrahamic religions then they should let the originators claim the promised land.

I care more about Syria to be honest. Palestine is an utterly hopeless cause, unfortunately.

Only Palestinians can shape their fate as a nation of people.

HIs life hasn't been controlled by Israel for over a decade.

That third option is to have access to education, health facilities, economic well being and most importantly freedom to travel without being harassed at check points.
All those things have been tried by the Jews of Israel and they've all failed because the goodwill of the Arabs was missing and all such goodwill gestures by Jews were interpreted as weakness and seized as opportunities to commit violence against Jews.

On the other hand, if the Arabs tried it and permitted Jews freedom to travel without harassment, allowed Jews to teach Zionism in Arab schools, and to again buy and sell and operate land and businesses in Arab-controlled territory, that would indeed be progress, yes?

Gaza is essentially a prison, Hamas being the prison guards. Israel controls the prison, what goes in and what goes out.
Odd that you do not or will not mention Egypt, which maintains much tighter border controls than Israel does. Or the fact that many Palestinian Arabs have a higher degree of living than many Pakistanis and freedom of travel - I've met and worked with (and for) Palestinian Arabs here in the U.S, and of course Palestinians work and teach in many countries in the Middle East.

Try imaging living like prisoners for generation, lets see how much sympathy you would have for your neighbours.

I don't suppose you ever considered that for the Jews Israel is the prison - the Arabs won't allow them anywhere - yet the Jews don't respond by encouraging their kids to stab their Arab neighbors, or bombarding Amman just to win back the 70% of the Palestine Mandate that the British chopped off.

Jaanbaz, you know you're just looking for ways to rationalize evil, right? "Just try to think on this point for a while."

ISIS may have seized weapons from interdicted shipment to Hamas - Israel News, Ynetnews

ISIS may have seized weapons from interdicted shipment to Hamas
Weapons that survived an Egyptian strike on an arms convoy heading to Gaza may have reached the Islamic State's Sinai affiliate and used in a massive operation against Egyptian forces.

Hamas believes a shipment of arms to Gaza that was interdicted by Egypt could have fallen into the hands of the Islamic State, Ynet has learned.

A recent major-scale Egyptian operation to thwart the smuggling of weapons into the Gaza Strip may have had an unintended consequence

A few days after the operation against a convoy of Gaza-bound arms, fighters in Sinai from Ansar Beit al Maqdis, a group that pledged allegiance to the Islamic State nearly a year ago, mounted a large scale attack against Egyptian security forces in the peninsula using weapons similar to those seen in the shipment.

The Hamas leadership believes that ISIS seized the weapons that remained intact after the Egyptian strike on the weapons convoy, having told Hamas that the weapons were destroyed.

The Sinai branch of the radical terror organization has seemingly become independent of Hamas, despite basic logistical ties that were formed between the organizations.

.........

Baseless propaganda. 'Hamas' in this article are a group of bed time story Israeli writers. There is no such thing as ISIS sinai, there are several militants far and between. Most armed people are local bediouns or local Egyptians. Hamas never mentioned anything about such an incident. Israeli right wing has agenda to couple Hamas and ISIS together just like they do so with Assad and Hezbollah. No such logistical ties exist. Israel can come provide any form of evidence. There is none. The tactic here is to repeat that lie enough that it becomes believable.

Hamas adopts revolving-door policy on jailing IS members in Gaza | The Times of Israel

........

This is the fourth article within 2 days that asserts such things. Israeli's learned well from their master Hitler. Nothing in article is true besides that IS sympathizers who commit illegal actions get arrested. No Hamas military members bring in militants in Egypt. That's not even possible. Nor did any IS 'commander' meet with Hamas officials. Baseless propaganda with no evidence. Low standard journalism. The so called 'IS commander' was an ordinary militant killed long ago if not hiding somewhere in Libya or Cairo.

Israeli right wing policy is to declare Gaza an 'ISIS state' so it can besiege it but also have no responsibility towards land it occupies. It will use this scheme against the West Bank too. Israel has no problem with ISIS and routinely asserts it is no threat. Yet somehow 'worried' about non existent ISIS in Palestine.
