Exports to India on downwards spiral

As long as China supplies necessary items, Pakistan does not need to produce them in country. Exports sliding is no big deal as CPEC will take care of everything.

its a temporary setback as iran -afghanistan and india are not happy and conspiring against Pakistan but once CEPC becomes oprational Gawadar will be thrice as wealthy dubai and singapore combined and pakistan will become largest economy in south asia ... :agree:

Exactly I have heard one Pakistani Channel by some expert researcher that after CPEC becomes operational Dollars will flow in Pakistani Naali ( Gutter) ... Its High time India built Dams on their gutters... according to some conservative estimate it would be 10 million Dollars / Cubic meter per Second flow of Naali water...

the picture is going to get even more rosey to say the least if you know what i mean ;)

This can be an aberration as well. Or just the result of a structural shift in the economy.

If exports keep declining for one year more then it would be a cause of concern for Pakistani authorities.

Look at the indiots here getting their panties in a bunch.

Not a good sign for Pakistani industry and economy. As a developing country Pakistan economic activities should grow and that includes it exports, but they are decreasing. @RiazHaq

Its a tough world economic climate

CPEC isnt even up and running, at the moment the various infrastructure projects, energy projects are all in the process of being built, Gwader is the same

Yet we have indians claiming that the influx of Chinese products through a as yet incomplete CPEC or Gwader are to blame???????o_O:cheesy:

CPEC in of itself won't improve Pakistan

Its the billions invested, he improvement in infrastructure, electricity supply, the increased internal and external investment in and around CPEC thst will push growth

Pakistan is a underdeveloped 200 million market
We need everything from homes, to cars to phones

The market is too big for the world economy to ignore and Pakistan will have high growth in the coming years, yoy can bank on it

India and indian companies rather than hit the jack pot with a massive market on its door step will be frozen out, our already pathetic trade is falling and will keep falling

Genius!! To put your economy on top gear you need trade relations and above all, less exports to India is nothing to be proud of, it just means that your products don't sell!! You cannot unwelcome India or for that matter any country who is a member of WTO(Not that we enjoy working with you, we are equally bound by rules)

Pakistan should have trade relations with all countries but India is an enemy and our issues are insurmountable
