Reports on NDTV are saying Obama offering the 'services of the US' to assist the investigations on today's attacks in collaborations with the Indian government. We already know what the result of this investigation will be once the US comes into the picture, just like it did once it got into the 26/11 investigations. NDTV is saying that IEDs are used exclusively by LeT (& IEDs were used today), so you can pretty much determine quite safely what the result of today's investigations will be. It will either be the IM acting on the behest of the LeT, or a direct attack by the LeT in Mumbai.

IEDs are IEDs are IEDs. LET has not patented any IED making process. Any fool with very basic knowledge of explosives can make IEDs. LET specialises in fidayeen operations, though it also uses IEDs and suicide bombings, but fidayeen attacks are its hallmark. It is foolish for any news channel to talk about origin of or inspiration for the IEDs when the forensic teams have barely begun working the sites. When does the US need to proclaim credible evidence, their statement is good enough in the world for most cases, whether that is for the imaginary Iraq WMDs or anything else. Obama doesn't even need US Congressional approval to start a war, which is absolutely unconstitutional, but that is the type of mood the US is in right now: a full self-destruct mode, & taking everyone along with them. This is quite a plausible scenario, especially if you have been following the recent showdowns between the CIA & the ISI. They've been at each other's throats. In OBL's raid, where are the pictures? Where was his body? Where is his DNA? The statement of the US was good enough for the world to accept it, just like the word of the US was good enough to believe in the imaginary WMDs in Iraq, to get into the country. As soon as the US starts 'lending its services' in assisting the investigations today, Pakistan & the ISI will be implicated. Plain & simple. And their word will be enough for the world once again. India will be used to exert pressure on Pakistan's Eastern border, whereas the US & Afghanistan will exert the pressure on Pakistan's Western border.
