Because there is simply no need for it! Stop trolling.

This sub is not in particularly deep water and doesn't require specialist deep-sea rescue teams to get to the men.

For God's sake, who's trolling?

I was replying to your post that american savage ship can be arraged in 12 hours...

You are so mind absented.

I think it's the GOI and the Indian defense establishment that have a lot of explaining to do. Lagging indigenous efforts coupled with princely sums spent on importing expensive foreign systems, and this is what India has to show right before her Independence Day?

What are you talking about? Blaming the GoI for the sake of it? India paid for a refit from the Russians and mere months later the ship is sunk.

This sub are barely 15 years old and had just come back from a major refurb- I don't see how "lagging indigenous efforts" or "princely sums spent on...." Have ANYTHING to do with this tragic incident.

This is on the Russians until I see evidence to the contrary, they've got a track record of screwing India's military.

Well, surprised to see that such a tragic incident took place in india, and NDTV is reporting... ONIONS OUT OF REACH!! :what:

No you weren't- you were saying the GoI should call the USN for help when there is simply no need to as far as I can see.

Who are you trying to impress troll??

Its only partially submerged .....not fully...some parts of the ship are above the water .... pretty sure the men inside should be fine...

No, ultimately this is on the incompetence of the defense establishment and the GOI. Had India been more focused on developing indigenous efforts, there'd be no need for these over-priced, poor quality systems from Russia.

Look at the Chinese, they've moved past the Kilos a long time ago onto their own indigenous platforms.

Can you really please shut up.....go open another thread about Russians....

DID u watch Times Now before ranting here!,,,, u just read the post given by a troll & ur trolling,,,,

Cheap shots by Moderator !.

How pathetic, what if this was just a malfunction caused by a clerical or procedural error. In the guise of blaming others a potentially repeatable error may never be caught. But that is media, I would rather stick to the IN to identify the cause. They are professionals and may use their brains and not other fragile parts to reach a conclusions whatever it may be.

A very tragic event. Our already depleted submarine strength suffers a major blow , i hope all the trapped sailors can be rescued
