We already have H Bomb. We are boosting the yield upto 5 MT. When we tested our N bombs In pokharan, we laid down a vision in this area. That was to phase wise boost Nuclear power. 1st phase was to armed our N missiles with 50 KT N bomb and 200 KT H bomb. II nd phase was to build and deploy 1 MT bomb. Third phase was to arm our missile with 3 MT Bomb. It seems that we have revised that and now we are working on even bigger bomb of 5 MT which only big 5 may have.

The article basically is about the Indian Uranium purification capability which give india a capability to fuel her N sub fleet and build at least 22 H bomb in addition. This is from one plant. We are either upgradding or adding the capacity to our rare metal plant at mysore. We have one such establishment in MP. nobody know what is going on at BARC. Our fast breeder reactors are coming up. They will produce more fuel than it consume. It shall have a very high burn ratio. Our FBR plants alone shall give us a capability and fissile materials to build 700 bombs per year.

Hydrogen weapons needs uranium. Hence govt have to enrich them.

India was lying low for last 1 decade. Currently India can make 2-5 nukes a year as compared to 15+ made by Pakistan yearly
