پاکستان کے فوجی حکام نے چارسدہ کی باچا خان یونیورسٹی پر حملہ کرنے والوں کے چار ’سہولت کاروں‘ کو میڈیا کے سامنے پیش کرتے ہوئے دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ حملہ افغانستان سے ہی ہوا ہے۔ تاہم پاکستان نے یہ نہیں کہا کہ یہ حملہ افغان حکومت نے کروایا ہے۔



ڈی جی آئی ایس بی آر میجر جنرل عاصم باجوہ نے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ افغانستان سے پاکستان میں 10 کالیں آئیں۔ اس موقع پر ایک کال کی ریکارڈنگ بھی میڈیا کو بھی سنوائی گئی اور بتایا کہ یہ کال افغان سم سے پاکستانی صحافی کو کی گئی تھی۔

آئی ایس پی آر کی جانب سے افغان نمبر بھی بتایا گیا اور اس ریکارڈنگ کے اردو ترجمے کے مطابق افغانستان سے آنے والی کال میں اس یونیورسٹی پر حملے کی ذمہ داری قبول کی جا رہی ہے۔



اس موقع پر ایک سلائیڈ شو کے ذریعے میڈیا کو بریفنگ دی گئی اور بتایا گیا کہ چار حملہ آور اور چار سہولت کار تھے۔ انھوں نے بتایا کہ تمام لوگوں کی شناخت ہو گئی ہے اور کچھ لوگ پکڑے جا چکے ہیں۔

’کمانڈر اور اس کا ڈپٹی بھی افغانستان میں بیٹھا ہوا تھا۔‘

ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر نے نقشے کے ذریعے بتایا کہ کیسے دہشت گردوں نے افغانستان سےطور خم کے علاقے سے سرحد عبور کی۔

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ وہ وہاں سے پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کے ذریعے ایک سہولت کار (جسے اے کا نام دیا گیا ہے) کے ساتھ مردان آئے۔ اس مطلوب سہولت کار کا نام خفیہ رکھا جا رہا ہے۔

فوجی حکام بتایا کہ ریاض، عادل اور نور اللہ، ابراہیم اور ضیا پکڑے جا چکے ہیں۔ بعد میں چار سہولت کاروں کو میڈیا کے سامنے پیش کیا۔

انھوں نے بتایا کہ یونیورسٹی میں کچھ عرصہ پہلے مستری کا کام کرنے والے عادل نامی سہولت کار اور ریاض نامی سہولت کار نے دہشت گردوں کو اپنے گھر میں پناہ دی۔

حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ ’یونیورسٹی کے باہر گنّے کے کھیت میں نوراللہ نامی سہولت کار نے دہشت گردوں کو رکشے کے ذریعے اتارا۔‘

فوجی حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ عادل نامی شخص نے دہشت گردوں کو یونیورسٹی کا نقشہ سمجھایا اور ریکی کی۔

میجر جنرل عاصم باجوہ کے مطابق دہشت گردوں کے لیے اسلحہ درہ آدم خیل سے لیا گیا اور اسلحہ لینے میں سہولت کار ’اے‘ جس کا اصل نام خفیہ رکھا گیا ہے اور کی بیوی اور بھانجی بھی استعمال ہوئی۔

انھوں نے بتایا کہ جنوبی وزیرستان سے تعلق رکھنے والے امیر رحمان کی نادرا کے ذریعے شناخت ہو چکی ہے۔

ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر نے آرمی چیف جنرل راحیل شریف کی جانب سے افغان صدر سے ہونے والے رابطے سےمتعلق کیے جانے والے ایک سوال کے جواب میں بتایا کہ یہ واضح ہے کہ حملہ افغاستان سے ہی ہوا ہے تاہم پاکستان نے یہ نہیں کہا کہ یہ حملہ افغان حکومت نے کروایا ہے۔

انھوں نے بتایا کہ پشاور میں آج آرمی چیف کی سربراہی میں ایک اہم اجلاس ہورہا ہے جس میں چارسدہ حملے کے بعد ہونے والی تحقیقات کا جائزہ بھی لیا جا رہا ہے۔

Five facilitators of Charsadda terrorist attack arrested: DG ISPR

PESHAWAR: Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Asim Bajwa said that five facilitators of the Charsadda terrorist attacks were arrested, ARY News reported.
DG ISPR General Asim Bajwa informed media personnel present that he had brought the Charsadda attack suspects with him. He briefed the media that the purpose of today’s press conference was to inform and update everyone regarding the progress in the investigation of the attack on Charsadda’s Bacha Khan University on January 20.
He then played an audio clip for the media personnel, which was a phone call between terrorist Mansoor Naaray in Afghanistan and a reporter. Asim Bajwa said the call had been placed from Afghanistan and that it the terrorist had claimed responsibility for the attack in the audio clip.

Asim Bajwa also revealed the terrorists had used public transport to reach to Charsadda. He revealed these terrorists crossed Torkham and entered into Pakistan via Mardan. He said Zakir, who was from Afghanistan, had helped in the purchase of the rickshaw. He also said terrorists had taken residence in two houses at the Mardan-Charsadda road. Lieutenant General Bajwa also revealed how Adil’s niece and wife were used in the terrorist attack.

Adil and Riaz were involved in the purchase of weapons used in the operation, according to the DG ISPR.
“A search operation is taking place to apprehend the wife and niece of the terrorist,” he stated.

Bajwa also said the commander of the terrorists was in Afghanistan. He also revealed that investigation into financial cooperation in the terrorist attack was underway.

He said three facilitators of the Charsadda attack, Riaz, Noorullah and Adil had been arrested. Asim Bajwa revealed how suspect Adil had provided the terrorists with a map of the university. “Adil and Riaz cooperated with the terrorists,” he said. Another terrorist by the name of Ameer Rehman had been identified by NADRA, he said.

He said terrorists had entered into Pakistan, conducted recce and purchased rickshaw as well as stayed in houses within Pakistan. Asim Bajwa then stressed on the importance of every person in a society playing his/her role to expose terrorists and foil their plans.

He said after his press conference concluded, media personnel could see the five arrested terrorists and also show them to the masses.

Bajwa said most of Operation Zarb-e-Azb’s objectives had been reached and many areas had been cleared from militants. He also stressed on how terrorism had declined in the country ever since June 2004, due to the operation that was conducted.

He added that several people cross into those routes along the border which are unfrequented. He added that the management of the border will be improved.

Do not send them to courts as the courts will see them freed due to their weak and inept justice... Shot them in line through military justice and be done with them but beforehand torture them mercilessly to find who else were involved. After their mutilated bodies are shot, go after the rest of them and focus on border sealing, afghan refugee evacuation and the killing of the TTP heads.

Rather breaking the law and constitution and to be called the dictators, let the Military build a bridge with public practicing the same kind of awareness by every mean. Show the true faces and bring the reality before the people.

In other words, I will also call it good development in regard of quick reaction and intelligence work. Hats off to the team indeed. let the justice be served.

As it has been established through many events that our system of public awareness by elected government is totally fail. These politicians will never try to let the justice be served for Pakistan just because of their own greed of business and to remain in power. Indeed the so called fascist liberals, willing to die to serve their masters being traitors wouldn't be happy by such move but will not stand a chance to save their faces.

Good work by authorities - and I hope courts deliver quick justice. You need to attack not just the terrorist commanders, but also need to deal with people who provide logistical support. Funding also has to be tackled - I recall seeing pictures of assorted organizations in Pakistan openly canvassing money for jihad somewhere or the other. This also has to stop.

For all those blaming India, please note - the arrested persons are all Pakistanis. One of the terrorists has been identified by NADRA - meaning he is a resident of Pakistan - surely not an Indian. Their handler, according to this article is one Omar, a Taliban commander. I guess this will be the Taliban that Pakistan had once recognized as the legitimate government of Afghanistan, before September 11 attacks changed everything. Not very sure how/where India comes into the picture.

Thanks for the detailed post, on some parts I agree and on some aspects I have difference of opinion.

Govt and army have very few options can't go straight to punish every one because on some points it will against of our stances on different issues, we need to change our foreign policy and should need to adopt no terrorists are good eliminate all.

I deliberately left some points, don’t want to give Indian posters a chance to use against Pakistan. I will may post a detailed article of my understanding on this issue in seniors café.

Well said though my opinion is in agreement of your post indeed. However, i would have not openly said it so let me explain it as what i wanted was like Military should keep the same practice continue to show their true faces by bringing them in front of people through media. Rest about the justice so there is a system to do the job and indeed no need to go into direct conflict. Terrorist are terrorist despite of any group, language or colors so let bring them down.
