Ex President and Ex COAS General Pervez Musharraf Passes Away

.
The General and his team can be credited for managing the incoming funds well.

Don’t be too harsh on your country men.

ROFL. He who pays the piper calls the tune. There is nothing harsh in recognizing that reality. Credit belongs only where it is due.

Giving americans open access was his most damaging move. Not as if his other policies were any good. But due to handing over everything to americans, we have an american agent at the helm of every institution. And we will be dealing with american agents for decades to come. All due to the deep infiltration by US in musharf time.

"An estimated 10,000 people attended the prayers, mainly retired and serving military officers, AFP news agency reported.

A junior army officer at the site who asked not to be named said a gun salute was given to the former leader.

Neither the army chief, prime minister or president were there, but local media reported that some politicians and former army chiefs attended.

Some locals felt Musharraf did not receive the send off he deserved, with one telling AFP that his funeral should have been held at the national stadium. Another, a retired government official, said "thousands of people wanted to participate in the funeral but no details were provided".

Musharraf's body was later transported to a nearby military graveyard where the coffin, draped in the national flag, was buried as hundreds of people watched surrounded by tight security."

The SSG and the Army were not to be denied at the funeral of their former officer and chief. They did right by the late Pervez Musharraf!

Many more people attended the funeral of Zia and Mumtaz Qadri compared to that of Musharraf or another patriot in his mold namely Salman Taseer who has also been disowned by his political party.

This in a nutshell shows why Pakistan is fully deserving of its fate.

*This is the historic picture, when Gen Perviaz Musharaf visited Pak troops deep inside Indian territory (11 Kms) during Kargil operation. The only Army Chief, who enjoyed this singular honour. He would always be remembered for his courage. A brave and proud leader.
