At the time of the death of baba guru nanak there was a dispute between Muslims and Hindus about whether to bury him according to Islamic rituals or to burn him according to last Hindu rites.

Who the hell will go 200 years ago from Punjab to settle in tribal areas ?.No not at all.Like the other parts of the world 99.9 % Sikhs are basically Hindus who are converted to Sikhism. Similarly KPK Sikh who are mostly native Hindus also converted to Sikhism during Ranjeet Singh era.

I have spent my life reading Baba Bulle shah, Baba Shaikh Frid, Shaikh Taki, Shah Inayat.
There is no concept of "Sufism" in Islam. Sufies were as smililar as to Saints in Indian culture. There literature and teaching is the same. That's why some sufi poets litrature found a space in Shikh's holy book.
But when Aurangzeb asked Guru Arjun Dev (5th Sikh guru) to put Quran verses in Har Guru Granth Shahib, he refused to do so!
Sufis were smililars to Indian saints, thats why you will see mostly Hindus too praying on Sufis Mazaar.
Sufis has same honor as Hindus and Sikh saints in India.

Sufis are Muslim 100%, I'm sufi inshallah, as are many here.
There is mountains of evidence for this. Please don't separate the two.
