Wali's name was revealed to be present in the final voter list of Chaman municipal committee
NUSHKI (Dunya News) – Authorities have collected evidences from the vehicle that was targeted Sunday in United States (US) drone strike allegedly killing Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Akhtar Mansoor, reported Tuesday.

United States (US) President, Barack Obama confirmed Mansoor’s killing in first ever drone attack in Balochistan however name of the person stated on an identity card seized from the site was Muhammad Wali.

The government has not seconded United States claim and is awaiting confirmation of identity through DNA test and other evidences.

According to the details, the person bearing controversial identity entered Pakistan on May 21 from Iran’s Taftan. He had visited other cities in Iran including Mashhad before his arrival in Pakistan.

Iranian government has denied presence of Taliban chief in the country before entering Pakistan.

On the other hand, Wali’s name is revealed to be present in the final voter list of Chaman municipal committee.

His full name, Muhammad Wali son of Shah Muhammad, is present in the list along with his identification card number and permanent residential address, Jadeed Abadi, Chaman, district Killa Abdullah.

But his residence in Jadeed Abadi is yet to be traced as the locals have denied having knowledge of anyone living in the area by that name.

Meanwhile, security agencies have initiated investigation regarding Muhammad Wali’s National Identification Card (NIC) and passport.

Wali’s identification card has raised multiple questions over the performance of National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra).

Sources indicated getting the identity card made after paying a heavy bribe. However, law enforcement agencies have launched investigation into the issue.

No one has claimed Wali’s body which is kept in Civil Hospital’s mortuary for three days. A mobile phone call by a person who claimed to be Wali’s nephew named Muhammad Rafique was received at the hospital two days ago.

The person neither appeared to retrieve the body nor is his mobile phone switched on after the call.

Doctors had sent DNA samples of the person killed in US drone strike to the federal capital on Monday. Hospital administration stated that a report would be prepared in a week.

Separately, intelligence agency raided Sohrab Goth’s Bismillah Terrace in Karachi as it was mentioned on Wali’s identity card as his current residence.

A suspected terrorist among three persons were taken in custody during the raid. Jabbar, allegedly belonging to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had sold the apartment to Wali in 2012 through an estate agent named Yousaf. Wali’s family hardly stayed there for three days and left, since then a tenant named Shaiq is living there with his family.

Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif criticised the strike and termed it as a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. Secretary of State, John Kerry said that the United States had informed the Prime Minister of the attack beforehand whereas Foreign Office (FO) stated that the premier was informed after the attack.

Mansoor was appointed as the head of extremist outfit, Taliban in July last year after the death of Mullah Omar.

Mansoor was seen as a hurdle in reconciliation process between the Afghan government and Taliban.

how the passport survived ? :coffee:

Passport was also attached with the drone and after hitting the vehicle dropped nearby.

It is not difficult for USA, remember after 9/11 all of the passports of so called terrorists were intact? Anybody dared to answer just accept and believe whatever told. No silly questions, understand ...

I personally believe that it was not a drone attack & if you all analyze the picture properly you all will find that there is no crater created by the impact of Hellfire, so something else happened here & we don't know what & how.

Also let me add on people saying that politicians such as ruling party is protesting against the so called drone attack. Please stop fooling yourself. These corrupt & bastard politicians are having US & other overseas nationality, how the hell will they protest against their masters & it is because of this Gen. Raheel himself took the matters in his own hand, called US Ambassador & showed his anger to the bastard. So please stop fooling yourself.

how the passport survived ? :coffee:

Of course it was thrown their by those attacked Mullah Mansoor.
