What's new

Europe bans Pakistan International Airlines for at least six months,

This needs to be fixed by Pakistan, and permanently. Maybe national shame will be the catalyst.

Shocking state of affairs. Truly.

no matter whom have fault so many people have suffered so many innocent humans lost the lives . so many kids have leave parents .its enough of covering things under carpet .
That family was coming home for Eid. I may have a million differences with Pakistanis but unnecessary loss of life is very sad. I pray for their souls.

I read somewhere that it was pilot error. Was this pilot also without proper license?

A BUS FULL TILL THE ROOF WITH PASSENGERS., IS LESS DANGEROUS , UNDER A DRIVER WITH NO- LICENSE -OR BOGUS LICENSE? WHT A SCHUMMCK

You remind me of a joke I read a long time ago.

A man was traveling in a plane, 30000 feet in the air, when he hears an announcement, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain. I am sorry to inform you that one of our engines has stopped working. But don't worry, we still have three engines. Everything is going to be alright".

The man gets worried, but is reassured by the captain's confidence.

A few minutes later, there is another announcement, "Ladies and gentlemen, I am sorry to inform you that a second engine has stopped working. But don't worry, we still have two engines. Everything is going to be alright".

The man starts to get really worried, but again is reassured by the captain's confidence.

A few minutes later, there is yet another announcement, "Ladies and gentlemen, I am sorry to inform you that a third engine has stopped working. But don't worry, we still have one engine left. Everything is going to be just fine".

At this point the man exclaims in exasperation, "For heaven's sake, one more engine, and we will be stuck here all day!"

The fact that the government still has the nerve to keep PIA alive is beyond me. This airline needs to be dismantled ASAP. It is over. It was over a long long time ago. As many have already suggested, sell off the assets and send PPP staff back to home. Let private airlines take over. Pakistan can implement heavy IMF conditions. Pakistan can also say goodbye to PIA.

Sounds more like a loss to PPP and PML-N who wanted to become the owners. It is not PTI who bankrupted and destroyed PIA LOL
