The scam is not the creditworthiness but taking these Eurobonds on when the interest rate to be floated on was so high. This was at a time when the so called inflation was at "an all time low" and the growth rate was "high" and Ishaq Dar was "the best finance minister" in the world according to an "IMF related magazine" which the IMF denied having links to.

We continue to take high interest dollar loans from our brotherly nations. We even offer foreign investors amazing returns just to get them to invest. The country is a pariah state so few are willing to lend us money or invest in our country. The ones that do demand significant premiums.
