EU has a very large and rich military.

Pretending that Russia can just conquer Europe is hilarious and dumb.

Now that the EU has basically destroyed it's hope of economic growth by sanctioning itself, it will in fact be less able to keep up military spending than before.

Strong economies produce strong militaries.

We can talk about that after Russia got crushed

The EU's top officials warned China's leaders at a summit Friday not to help Russia wage war on Ukraine or sidestep Western sanctions, European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen said.

"It would lead to a major reputational damage for China here in Europe," Von der Leyen said after the video talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

My God!!! The EU dare do this openly? I wonder if Chinese Premier will also make speeches of autonomy and freedom and lash out at his opposition, the EU and also US!

Infact, I know China will handle it diplomatically because these things are normal and are generally handled diplomatically.

To be candid, I'm not convinced that US is arm twisting Pakistan to the extent that many people here believe it does. Pakistan's army wants to balance its relationship between US and China; I think that it is prudent. Perhaps I'm able to think this way because I'm neither a Pakistani nor a PTI supporter.
