EU Finished? Turks flee Europe for delights at home

Now there are so many new help to people . Students even who start school get paid to parents to help them , as they grow older the more pay. Most people have something called a green card which means all health service is free .

The problem with turkey is the difference in wealth in regions , especially south east region cannot develop because of internal problems and is the poorest region while the cities in the west regions and south west are all very modern. Per capita in those regions is much higher than south east ,thats what drops the per capita income alot. When you go to Istanbul , or cities in those regions its clear how developed they are and its easily as good as any EU city .

Every country in the world has some regions that are least developed in comparison to other regions. Authorities must work hard to develop South East region of the country, It is hard to get private investment in the region where law & order situation is not good.

Isn't EU Turkey's largest export destination? Not something to be happy about then is it?

No, no pan turkic export markets with gdp of 5000$ per head, no education, no working habits is the future. And here's another gem, the mother country (Turkey) has 10.000$ per head.

And if Turks are fleeing EU, that's actually good, that means there are no jobs for the unqualified and automatically what would end up in social care receipts for them is going elsewhere.
Too many kebap stores anyway.

Turkey was not the part of EU.

Unemployment rate in Turkey = 8.2% (2012)
Unemployment rate in Spain = 24.63% (2012)

Turkey 10,522$ with close to 80 mill. people.

Spain 32,360$ with 47 mill. people.

Turkey 734,440 million$ GDP

Spain 1,4 trillion$ GDP
-----------------------------------------------------------------

So Turkey makes half less then Spain with 30 mill. people more and one third of living standards. Future looks good, i must say so myself.

Quite sad that Turks have these feelings now though, ive been on holidays a few years ago in Turkey and it was great, great people, great sights, locals even sold me weed!

Turks dont pay taxes, avoid and getting with it. Unaccounted economy surpasses accounted economy. I dunno anything about GDP of Spain. But real GDP of Turkey is twice its size.

Same is the case with Pakistan...

Our "undocumented" economy is bigger than documented economy...

When westerners talk as they know eastern economies, I smile. :)

GDP can only be calculated precisely if you have accounted documents, bills etc...
How many mechanical parts were produced,
how much money did people earn so that you pay taxes etc...

In eastern economies, the response will be 1/3 or 1/2 of the real figure.

Data says otherwise. Ill believe the data rather then you. PPP is useless stat. You did loot.

Grand-Vezier! Is that you?

I could argue for example that organized crime takes a substantial cut in the western countries as well. It would fit under your category of "Unaccounted economy".

And just out of curiosity, id like some sources on the "unaccounted is bigger then accounted in Turkey". Turkish tax agency (i dont know its real name) should have info about what's the estimated share of the so called "grey economy". Thanks.

The average is around 40%, data collected from 50 countries....i dont know if i should believe you that Turkey's percentage is over 100%. Seems like a bit of patriotic boasting.

having largely unregistered economy is not something to be proud of. But easily avoiding taxes is Good most of the time. :D

Council of Europe: Shadow economy in Turkey alarming

Lets add 33% to 750 billion USD equals 1.000 billion USD GDP.
