EU dismisses help for Turkey collapsing economy

Well, if Merkel said that, it would have carry some weight. M

Turkey may not be a EU member, but EU banks are exsposed to Turkey. So... turkish problems may soon be EU problems.

While this guy was bubling, Merkel was on the phone with Erdogan arenging meeting beween two countries tresury ministers.

Kauder is Merkels most loyal muppet. Kauders opinion is Merkels opinion.

EU financial help for Turkey would be Merkels political death.

.
You dont see Erdogans crazy oriental policies as reason for teh ongoing turkish economic collapse?

Tell me, which serious investors want send his money to a country that arrests tenthousands, has coups and a president who makes his own son in law minister?

what are oriental policies?

I dont know, maybe western assholes who poor investments and aid to buchers like Sisi, regimes of Saudi Arabia and the like. EU banks are very< much exposed to Turkey, so..

Also, you eing Italian I would very much worry about the poor state of your banks and how much will Merkel squeze your *** greece style when they collapse-

So.. why is there contradiciton between Merkels comments, germanys financial minister comments and this guy?

Also, I dont think that direct financial aid is the only instrument. There are other ways, economic and political that can be of much helps. As you see, Turkey can find direct investments from other places.. And also, there this all refugee thing that Turkey is handling for you so your xhenophobic racist assholes dont go in full fascist meltodwn.

Oriental policies is tyranny, dictatorship and nepotism.

Making your son in law minister for example. Turkey shows oriental behavior and the market punishs it.

What we see there is that the investments flows out

Merkel made no comments towards Turkish economy neither did the german finance minister Scholz.

of course, his economic policies are uneducated (opposition to interest rates being increased shows he has no understanding of economics and there is religious influence on this position as well) and his stupid son in law is a disaster, but i was talking about the US sanctions on turkey being politically motivated, not about the competence of erdogan's policies

i don't think your description of turkey is fair, "coups" = one failed 'coup' that was very small and crushed very easily by the citizens even... sure the mass arrests are very paranoid and bad, but many western allies do the same (KSA etc)

as for son in law, i already said my opinion, but you don't think nepotism exists in european countries?

Already falling again.

https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/USDTRY:CUR

Turkey needs 180 Billion € within next 3 months. Today Lira sunk another 5%
falling from 5.95 to 6.03 is not a big deal, that is normal fluctuation for currencies, important thing is that everybody was worried it would go to more than 7 and it briefly did, but now it is back around 6

The problem with Turkey was, that the hut was already burning. The only thing trump did was throwing gas into it.

Of course neptism exists in Europe as well but nowhere like in Turkey. Within a short timespan Turkey has fallen on the level of a banana republic.

Turkey was always one of teh more sane middle eastern countries. In recent years it did all the crazy shit that its neighbors do. What happenes now is the result.

i am not saying trump is to blame for turkey's problems now, i am saying that the pastor situation is just an excuse for trump to punish turkey and impose sanctions - these are two different issues

i think your view of europe is a bit too idealistic, but i do agree that erdogan is taking turkey in a bad direction, we cannot deny that he did a lot of great things for turkey before, especially economically, but now his social regression and economic incompetence is having a bad affect on the country, but i also think it is a bit exaggerated and hysterical, but we will see...

So, Musollini was oriental?

What a fucking irony. It was the west that invented two most evil, tyranical regimes in human history: fascism/nazism and communism. Nothing oriental in them.
And from the looks of it, the first one is on the rise again, from Italy to Hungary, Poland and even Germany.
My God.. the sheer audacity for your guys to take somekind higher ground is so fucking ridicoulous.

as for Merkel

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkeldiscussed bilateral ties and the situation in Syria during a phone call on Aug. 15, a presidential source said.

According to the source, the two leaders agreed upon a meeting between finance ministers of Turkey and Germany, while Merkel stressed that Berlin supports a strong Turkish economy.

Erdoğan and Merkel pledged determination to strengthen bilateral ties and discussed their planned meeting in Berlin at the end of September, the source added.

Not Sholz, it was economy minister Peter Altmaier who made those comments, lambasting Trump tariffs and sactions.

Merkel said exactly same as what kauder said. Kauder said as well Germany wants a strong turkish economy.

But he added help is impossible. Which is a simple fact. Merkel barely was able to organize help for Greece. Her government started to crumble. Turkey is as popular in Germany as a broken leg. She could step back if she would bring help for Turkey up.

Beside that evry single EU country must vote for that. Which will not happen.

What we do can do is giving advice how to fix economy and ask the IWF to step in.

Also i would like to know how Erdogan would argument how his "pride" has made him beg for help from the Eu, which he constantly insults.

P.s.: Im a facist and damn proud for it. There is no other ideology more aesthetic than Facism.

As I said, direct financial aid isnt the only instrument. And Greece crisis isnt really comparable. Turkey isnt Greece. What Turkey is expeririencing is much more in tune with what South Asia markets in late 90s did.

Good luck with that. Just dont end up hanging upside down from the balcony like Mussolini.

Hi,

Afghanistan got destroyed for one man OBL----. AFG already lived in stoner age---.

Your country could be smashed beyond recovery---it is not worth it---.

Freeing the pastor is not going to get the US off Turkey’s back. They have been escalating with Turkey since its economic growth and its increasing political role in Muslim countries.

Pakistan should go all in with Turkey. Any country which goes out against Turkey should also face some repercussions from us. Most of these same countries who back PKK also back BLA, BLF.

:blah: :blah: :blah:

More meaningless chest-beating. What exactly can Pakistan do to help Turkey besides offering symbolic gestures?
