As I say, Thailand can continue enjoying the status as tourist heaven. Let’s Vietnam to be the industrial center in ASEAN. Why only buy Japanese cars? I admire the Japanese but as they are rich, they don’t need to be richer.

Japan is like a rich man that has $10 million in the bank. Getting $5,000 more does not have any impact.

So don’t forget: buy Vietnam cars!

I still remmeber first time I visited Pattaya in 2003. When we were on the beach, some men ask us"where do u from ?", I said "VN". They laughed and said" Thai win VN in football", I also laughed and say "wait and see, bros"... and we all know VN passed Thai in AFF cup 2018.

In Pattaya, I saw that the shop and restaurant open at abt 9am while we open at abt 7,30-8am in VN. So, VNese seem start working sooner than Thai and may work harder ,too.

If nothing change, then passing Thai is just the matter of time for VN after so many long hard wars

Not so quick. Vietnam with (hopefully) $300 billion in exports will certainly surpass Thailand this year, but there is still a long way or years to go to surpass in tourist number and GDP. A economic and military strong Vietnam is good for ASEAN

We should create an united sub Mekong region to get stronger and make a bigger market, so more and more investors ( including Cnese investors) who wanna avoid US-CN trade war can shift their factories to sub Mekong region.
