Ethnic balance belatedly being sought in Ukraine may be "the" peaceful answer

During this weekend the new Ukraine interim government in Kiev has invited a shared national government cabinet and such with greater participation by Ukrainian nationals who are of Russian ethic origin.

A good idea but right now with ethnic insults flying it might be too little, too late, unless both the Ukranian media and the world media broadcast and hammer this immediate need of shared government administration.

Ukraine, not unlike Russia, has a raw form of democracy with former dictators such as Kruchma who was a modern day tyrant and crook. I new college age Ukrainians studying in colleges here, working in restaurants and stores to help "pay their way while in the US" who were from here in the US very frightened of Kruchma and his secret police.
