Erdogan welcomes Abbas in Ottoman Empire style ceremony

Ottoman atrocities are not spread by Ba'ath party, heck Ba'ath party haven't passed a law to acknowledge ottoman atrocities like other countries did...

there is a square in Damascus dedicated to the martyrs that were murdered by the ottomans...

ottoman atrocities is something the whole world knows, so no need for me to make up stuff, simple google research is enough...
I asked for sources for your claim that Ottomans used Arabs in frontlines, why jumping from ''Arabs was cannon fodder for Ottomans'' to ''Ottoman attrocities''?

Did Baath party also passed a law to acknowledge the attrocities done by themselves such as Hama Massacre?
It would be much more important since it happened not long ago unlike the things happened in turbulent times of Ottoman Empire which doesnt exist anymore.
If Baath party is so honest and humane then they should pass a law to acknowledge its own attrocities since they are the reason why Syria is a mess right now, i dont know its just an idea of me but your country your rule.

Now we are jumping to Hama? Hama massacre as you call it was against the MB terrorists... why don't you educate yourself about what the MB terrorists did in Syria, how they bombed school, hospitals and killed many civilians.. I don't have time to teach you kid... but you're lucky there is google today...

when Ba'ath kill over one million Armenians and others, then I will ask them to do that.. :azn:

anyways, simple google of Arabs in Ottoman army should do you something... it is not my fault that you're ignorant about this issue, you should take the initiative and do your own research...

You really think your smart right? About Hama, the civilian casualty was much higher than that of extremists, hence its a atrocity.

And for the rest, as expected no source just usual bla bla from your kind, nothing new.

are you going to deny that Arabs never fought with Ottomans? :disagree:

They were Arabs. Indeed, two-thirds of the first men to push back the Anzac forces were Syrian Arabs from what is today Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and "Palestine". And of the 87,000 "Turkish" troops who died defending the Dardanelles, many were Arabs. As Palestinian Professor Salim Tamari now points out, the same applies to the Ottoman battles of Suez, Gaza and Kut al-Amara. In the hitherto unknown diary of Private Ihsan Turjman of the Ottoman Fourth Army – he would today be called a Palestinian Arab – there was nothing but scorn for those Arab delegations from Palestine and Syria who sent delegations "to salute the memory of our martyrs in this war and to visit the wounded".

Far more Arabs fought against the Allies on behalf of the Ottomans than ever joined Lawrence's Arab revolt, but here is Private Turjman expressing fury at his masters.

What exactly are you trying to say? You wanted independence, you got it, enjoy.
my point was it shameful here how many people are blindly supporting the Ottoman empire, but again they probably don't know their atrocities, and we Arabs suffered from Ottoman oppression for years... that is how all of this started conversation started...

and yes we got our Independence from Ottomans and French.. and now they west with their puppet trying to take over Syria all over again... but they will fail..

Yeah, whatever, take care.

. .
by the way , I did provide you with a source as a starter, but my friend you need to do lot of more research... but again mostly likely stuff like this is hidden to the Turkish public...

Where does your source claim that Arabs were cannon fodder, pls quote the particular part.
You can google as much in Turkey as in Syria, dont come up with the ''censorship'' argument.
BTW: im living in Switzerland in case you missed it.

.
You are actually quite stupid. I don't consider one group of human better than the other. I do have utmost respect for Turkey, just as I have utmost respect for Iran. You are probably new on this forum, since you haven't seen people accusing me of being a "saffafid" for having Pro Iranian views.

Btw I also have inferior complex towards Iranians, I want to see farsi re introduced in to Pakistani education system. Does it make you feel better, Aryan?

He is not new he just always bashes Pakistanis and even Indians, he is usually banned which is why you must think he is new.

.
why did this ikhwanjie erdogan welcome Baha'i traitor like Abbas in ottoman ceremony

More Arabs died than Turks in some of the battle... or you're saying now that the Arabs just stood behind and never fought? of course since many Arabs died in the battle little lived to tell about how they were treated as second class in the Ottoman army... Ottomans occupied Arab land for centuries and they never treated Arabs well... Arabs were tricked because of flag of Islam the Ottomans were using for their own agenda...

and it doesn't matter where you live... you still deny the atrocities ...

A grand reception in the likes of the Ottoman Empire has welcomed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to Anakara, as Turkey resurrected images of past warriors to greet the foreign leader.

Accompanied by spear-carrying warriors and guards in chainmail and golden helmets, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed Abbas to the new presidential palace - the Ak Saray.

The scene of the historical costume drama included 16 warriors each representing one of the 16 empires of Turkish history from the Hunnic Empire, founded around 200 BC, to the Ottoman Empire which was dissolved in 1920.

Social media, however, was quick to point to Erdogan's imperial ambitions depicted in the mascarade.

“It seems that turkish president @RT_Erdogan thinks he's a #sultan,” user @ddurejko said in a tweet.

The staged ceremony was conducted at Ak Saray, the controversial presidential palace on the outskirts of Ankara that was opened at the end of October. Inspired by Seljuk architecture, it has 1,150 rooms and was built at a cost of around €490 million.

The palace houses state-of-the-art communications systems and has bunkers able to withstand biological, nuclear and chemical weapons attacks, according to local media.

The presidential quarters are also defended from spies with additional anti-bug measures and security against wiretapping.

Yeah more Arabs died in Arabic populated areas, in Anatolia we lost 1/3 of our population, how exactly does this prove your claim that Arabs were used as cannon fodder?
Now you claim Arabs were second class in Ottoman Army, again a source pls.
