TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Eram garden has very high plant diversity. Many types of plants from all around the world have been planted in the garden. The garden is now like an exhibition of several kinds of plants and flowers.
Currently the Garden is in the authority of Shiraz University; The Botanical Garden belongs to the Faculty of Agriculture and the building belongs to the Faculty of Law. Eram Garden of Shiraz along with eight other Persian gardens was registered in the World Heritage List, on 27 June 2011, in the thirty-fifth session of UNESCO World Heritage Committee.

The most prominent feature of this building is its two story central porch. In the upper part of the building, there is a crescent on which are tile designs including historical, literary, and legendary figures that are so beautifully displayed, including figure of Naseredin Shah mounted on a white horse, Prophet Solomon, Joseph and Zoleikha, stories of Ferdowsi and Nezami and the figure of Achaemenid Darius.

Spring, lol.

thats when others should visit too

I wanna visit Shiraz again .. one of the best places and cities for holiday at least I think .. but Hafezie is my favorite I can't get enough of it ... about Eram garden I stayed there for hours enjoying seeing and talking with painters poets.

That garden should have been called "an Iranian Garden" in the title you have selected, not Persian.

Persian gardens

The tradition and style of garden design represented by Persian gardens or Iranian gardens (Persian باغ ایرانی) has influenced the design of gardens from Andalusia to India and beyond. The gardens of the Alhambra show the influence of Persian garden philosophy and style in a Moorish palace scale, from the era of Al-Andalus in Spain. The Humayun's Tomb and Taj Mahal have some of the largest Persian gardens in the world, from the era of the Mughal Empire in India.
Paradise garden

The paradise garden is a form of garden of Old Persian origin. Originally referred to by a single noun signifying "a walled-in compound or garden"; from pairi (around) and daeza or diz (wall, brick, or shape), Xenophon translated the Persian phrase pairidaeza into the Greek version Paradeisos. The enclosed garden concept is now often referred to as paradise garden due to additional Indo-European meanings of "paradise."

As long as a Saudi Arabian can't be proud of the Iranian culture there'll be no peace in the Middle East.

What's the problem here? Persian or Iranian, does the specific term really matter? All over Europe people are celebrating and embracing Greek and Roman culture, architecture and philosophy. Why can't we be proud of each others achievements?

These gardens are part of our wider Middle Eastern cultural sphere. I rather visit Iran and contribute to a fellow Muslim nation than travelling thousands of kilometres to visit less beautiful gardens in Europe just because they're more famous.

We should implement this type of gardening all over the Middle East.

Because, there are no desert and definitely no illiterate bedouins roaming around in Europe.
